First time French Motorhome Adventure - Part 2 Chateau de L' Eperivere to Domaine Du Verdon

Next stop for us on our whirlwind French adventure was 2 peaceful days at Chateau de L' Eperivere. This was the most peaceful and beautiful site I had visited. You could feel the stress melt away as you arrived.
The next stop was Domaine Du Verdon, a very very different site. Not so pretty, we called it rustic! It was very much geared up for children but perfectly placed for Gorges Du Verdon (40KM away)

Wow, the visit to Chateau de L' Eperivere was amazing! The beautiful ponds, trees and the lake was wonderful to see. The reception house was really big. I like greenery, the mountains and they are huge. Wow, the village is so beautiful and look the doggie is making friends with your dog. The camp park is really big!!! That lake was beautiful. Oh wow, look at the doggies in the water. Like 240

Hi…new subscriber here. I stumbled across your channel today and you are doing what I hope to be doing in 18 months or so. It will be me, my wife and 2 dogs just like you 😂. We have had the foreign package holidays all over the world when our kids were younger…son is 27 now and daughter is almost 21 so it’s time now to relax a little and enjoy our twilight years. Love the vlogs I have travelled France from 1981camping and caravanning and it looks just the same as regards sites some brilliant some ok you were very polite calling it rustic I used to call them "shabby chic". We now and for the last 12 years odd travel by motorcycle all over Europe and hotels in France are the same LOL. Love you fur babies you have the heart of a lioness coping with 2 doodles there's no off switch !!. Keep the vlogs coming as we really enjoy them all the best from N.Ireland Robert & Carolyn, and Ellie the lab.

Sorry but the rustic site looked terrible everything I avoid on a camp site, the river looked great and your fair babies are gorgeous, chateau site 10 out of 10. We have just purchased our first Motorhome and getting ideas for our first French road trip, thanks for all your hard work and effort producing good content vlogs 👍🏻🇬🇧

We are camping at Château L’Eperviere in a couple of weeks. Looks very nice and I think we have 3 nights there to chill out by the river 😃 I like the word “rustic” but at €40 a night it needs to be posh rustic 😉🤣🚐 Safe travels, Trev

Yes exactly. We had two weeks holiday and honestly probably did too much, but we wanted to see it all. We are both full time work so having to do as much as we can until we retire 😉

You don’t have to worry about air conditioning not being recognised as part of a camping holiday because you’re not camping. You are motor homing and that’s something completely different.

I’m totally confused, why were you so rude about the ‘rustic’ campsite? It was great. It was well laid out with plenty of shade. €40 a night seems a good price for high season in a tourist area, how much would it have cost in Devon or Cornwall? What more was is that you wanted?

Sorry you feel I was “rude” it was very run down and not what we wanted. However I don’t feel we were rude. These are just our opinions as we were there. This is why I don’t make videos anymore as we get criticism about everything we say. It was not about the money per night and we were not looking for a cheap site, its was not for us. Many people were happy obviously, I can’t help that we didn’t like the site. It’s a personal opinion
