First time French Adventure - Part 3 Gorges Du Verdon to Montpellier and onto Le Port De Limeuil

Part 3 of our French adventure.
Last wee we travelled down to the Domaine Du Verdon and that's where we are picking you up now. In this vlog we stay at three campsites and discover the heat of the south of France and the fabulous Le Port Limeuil.
For our wrap up vlog we will share the prices of the sites, fuel and tolls.

I stayed on the campsite at Limeuil last August while on a cycling tour in the Dordogne. It was a lovely site but the current in the river made swimming a one way trip. The following day we stayed in Beynac with the château towering above us. I’ve got some great photos of hot air balloons flying overhead in the early morning. We were cycling during the heatwave.

Great video. Brings back lovely memories of our holidays in France. The viaduct looked like Souillac. We stayed at Camping la Palle Basse just up the road. Looking forward to tour next video when you go to Chanteloup. We stayed there about 15 years ago

Another brilliant scenic film, it's like we're on a virtual holiday with you all. Excellent camera/drone work, editing and nice easy listening music, fantastic! The what3words for the locations is a nice touch btw, thanks. Andy was taking a risk diving in during rush hour in the gorge, the boys were a bit worried he was going to get run over. 😉🏊

Very enjoyable videos and good information. We often drive to the south of France but next summer will be the first time with our new caravan and our two dogs so it was good to see the sites and dog walking. We have had air conditioning fitted to our caravan for the same reasons as you gave. Regards Peter

Loved this part of the trip. We were booked to spend two weeks at Limueil in 2020 and were so looking forward to it. Its on the cards for next year's trip, just waiting for our new Auto Trail Delaware to be delivered.

Hello enjoying watching your French adventures 😍 love your doggies and wondered what do you use for them to sit beside you up at cab? as our two fur babies always end up under our feet, which can be quite annoying as too near the pedals when driving. Thanks Angela .x

Thank you 🙏🏻 the doggie seat is a work in progress. Digby really wanted to be up with us, he loved that in the T5. Soooo I have a little table thy I wedged between the seats and but cushions underneath and his bed on the top. It worked but Andy is going to build something better. Thank you for watching 🚍

Loved your video thank you for posting! Quick question how do you secure yr 2 dogs or do they sit quietly whilst travelling. We are planning our trip with 2 furry friends! Thanks

Great question and we have tried lots of ways. Teddy will quite happily sit in a basket and we secure him with a dog harness attached to the seat belt. Teddy is very nervous and sits on my lap, we have another dog harness that is also attached to the seatbelt. It’s trial and error, we tried all sorts.
