I’ve heard you say before that you don’t like to use blending shears but this puppy could have look so much softer and a lot less choppy if you would have tried using a 44/20 blending shear on her instead of just straight or curved scissors. She sure was quiet and cooperative for such a young puppy.

The face looks veryy long and boxy compared to the body. I personally like a shorter round face with the visor trimmed back more and the eyes are more visible. But the puppy did very well on her first groom! Hopefully parents keep up on it!

Pink Panda Dede did the grooming with what the owners wanted. Regardless of what we is groomers would like to do it’s up to the dog parent as to what they want not the groomer. They are paying the grooming fee. 🤷🏼♀️Just saying.

I’m aware. That’s why I said “I personally” I didn’t say the grooming was bad (just that it is not my preference which is personal my opinion) and even said that the puppy did well with her on her first groom. As long as pet parents are happy that’s all that matters. Have a good day 😊

I agree with you that if you have a pet, inform yourself of everything about the breed, from diet, temperament, hip or other skeletal or muscular issues, and then grooming. You've taken on the responsibility of providing for that fur baby everything it needs and that you will do it. Brushing, obedience/teaching/disciplining for a peaceful coexistence for the life of the pet. I had a Chocolate point Siamese from 8wks to 16yrs,4mths, and 10days; he died in my arms. I also have a rescued Tonkinese and she is equally very well taken care of. Now, I obtained a pair of (again) Chocolate point Siameses (Male and female), age 8wks. Eventhough they are short-haired cats, I brush them all 2x/day and it starts as kittens. Now the kittens are 16wks old, and when I just hold out their brush they come straight away to get groomed. Theres also manners like no biting, scratching, jumping on people etc. I truly love my fur babies, and I wish that all owners would do the same for their pets. You're great as a groomer (right man, lol) Btw, I've also put my fur babies in my will so that should I suddenly pass away I know that they will go to someone who knows them and loves them like I do.

That is one adorable little puppy! Oh my goodness! And I was so surprised at how calm she was. Even when you had to brush and comb through the matted areas around her ears, she was only a little upset about that. If it had really hurt, I think she would have cried out. I was just fascinated watching the way you trimmed up her feet pads and her little backside. And you really opened up her pretty little face!! Such a beautiful and sweet face!! I swany it looked like she was used to being groomed. She'll be a dream to groom as she gets older. And you did a great job making little noises to get her attention away from what you were doing. I'm looking at getting another little dog. One I'm looking at is a curly little girl and I believe that I'll take her to the groomer instead of trying to do it myself. I'll brush and bathe her, but I'll leave the trimming to the professional. LOL.

Dede has said many times in her other videos that she learned from both a vet, where she worked, and from PetSmart. If I am no mistaking she has also mentioned going to training classes elsewhere. Just saying. She always tells her clients "This is my opinion from working at a veterinarian office, but know, I am not a vet. You should check with your vet". I personally would appreciate that type of advise in a grooming situation.

@@karinevans754 being human we comb our hair everyday. Why will they not comb the dog.
@idontdiscriminateihateever60175 жыл бұрын
I see it as people have a preference in dog looks. Like I, personally, do not like short haired dogs. I think they are boring and mostly look the same. Like example, every boxer, will have a similar body. Similar head. But long haired dogs you can play with and make them your own. People also don't get dogs based on their life style, like they should. Like people who go out and get corgi or pug because they saw someone on KZbin had one and they were sooo cute. Little do they know that those dogs HAVE to get exercise. Or that they have to clean out their wrinkles everyday. They don't do their research. So these kind of little dogs fall under that category. It's also lack of grooming information. Like my mom recently got a shichon, she brushes her, but doesn't brush her CORRECTLY. So every Sunday I fully brush her out. I doubt anyone who brings their dogs into Dede hate their dog or get a dog to purposely neglect. At least they ARE bringing them in to get groomed. That's all that matters.
@GlamStrokz5 жыл бұрын
@@idontdiscriminateihateever6017 I agree to what you said. We need to understand that dogs can't speak hence as a owner we need to take real good care of them. My personal opinion a dog is a family member. You have to take care of them equally
@katybauer62875 жыл бұрын
People simply don’t care. They selfishly think this fluffy teddy bear looking dog is what I want. And I don’t want to brush it’s fur. And I don’t want to brush it’s teeth. They don’t think about the fact that dogs feel pain from the same things we do. People are just simple minded. Obviously this doesn’t apply to everyone and a lot of times it comes from a place of ignorance. But unfortunately ignorance doesn’t put the dogs in any less pain
