Un hu the best song on the album. I was a senior in high school when this album came out. Acdc was my favorite group so when bond died I was devastated. Thank God for Brian Johnson & his lyrical greatness. They never missed a beat & actually were just as good & were at there peak. No other albums compared to back in black. Ure awesome bro keep it up.#1.

Is it any wonder this was such a huge hit, Biz? Imagine someone telling you ten years ago that you would be so into hard rock! While this is about the male bravado and swagger, I think the female perspective is just as aggressive, so it goes both ways! Mutual admiration is a wonderful thing!

When they made this song Malcolm and Angus said to Brian we already have the riff and have the name we need you to write the words to it he wrote the words in a few hours. Great reaction as always. I waited for this song for a reason. According to Brian, this was the first song he wrote for AC/DC. If you watch the 12+ minute interview of Brian on Howard Stern, you’ll hear that story as well as to the one and only meeting of Bon and Brian plus you’ll see how close Brian came to not joining AC/DC.

K Biz, straight off the top.... I watched this reaction last night. You uploaded it right as I was getting out of work so I watched it in my car before driving home. Anyway, I didn't have time to comment as it was late and I had worked all day (tired as hell!) UGH!! So I'm back watching it again this morning (mornings are my peaceful time!!🤷‍♀️) All I wanna say is.... great freaking reaction!!👏👏👏 I knew you'd love this one!! It's an iconic rock anthem and will live on FOREVER!!!🙃🥰 Now on another important note: As far as getting started on a River Plate reaction mini journey.... my recommendation for whatever it's worth is for you to start with a super fun one.... "Whole Lotta Rosie"!!!👊 As you know by now, it's Bon Scott's ode to a heavy-set Tasmanian woman he spent the night with once.😉 He was so taken and impressed with her and her "skills" that he wrote a song about her! lol!!!😜 Anywhoo, even though it's Brian singing Bon's tribute to this woman.... Brian does it complete justice almost as if he wrote it himself AND....they have a HUGE prop on stage for that one song! I think you'll really get a kick out of it!!😁 As far as other River Plate performances.... they are SERIOUSLY all incredible but I wanna put my vote in for you to do "Let There Be Rock" (another Bon song!😉❤)..... Brian kills it as always but in that performance it's ANGUS WHO'S THE STAR FOR SURE!!!👊💯🥰 He has a very long but insane guitar solo and even gets lifted up on a platform in the middle of the crowd!! Angus goes nuts and so does the crowd!!! It just shows beautifully how Angus is not only A guitar god.... he's the heart and soul of AC/DC PERIOD!!!👊 It's a long performance (approx. 14-15 mins) but it is SOOOOO freaking worth it!! ****Also, you need to check out the official vid for Let There Be Rock (even if it's just for yourself!) It's Bon Scott in it and it's awesome, set in a church scene, but more importantly.... funny as hell!!! Especially because at the end, Bon disappears off of the back of the stage and never reappears..... for years I had wondered why the hell he didn't reappear and what the significance of it was for the purpose of the song and video??? Turns out.... it had NOTHING to do with the song/vid.... Bon was intoxicated during the filming, fell off the back of the platform and actually broke his ankle!!😳 That's why he never reappears back on the church stage!! 😂🤣😂The music video is awesome and fun but now that you know what happened in it.... I think it'll he an even better reaction for comedic purposes anyway!!😜 Great reaction Biz!! You rock!!🔥❤😎 P.S>>>> On what you said at the end.... that was funny as hell and to all the dopes who don't actually watch your reactions til the end.... Pfft, it's their loss!!🙄 However.... people are starting to catch on and your numbers are rising!! Keep doing you Biz!! you're the best!!!👊💯💯💯

I even freaking commented on that reaction the very day you uploaded it n 2021!!😆 Of course, I was still commenting under my husbands YT acct so it says Michael Gilbert NOT Tina! lol!!🤷‍♀That was a LONG time ago, I can barely remember what I had for dinner last night never mind a reaction from a year ago! lol!!😅 So disregard my "Whole Lotta Rosie" live at River Plate request! lol!!😜 But DEFINITELY do "Let There Be Rock" Live at River Plate (it's 17mins long!).... you are gonna love it!!!!👊 Thanks Biz!!❤ P.S... There are a few examples of bands that flourished after losing their original lead singer (Van Halen, for example) but I cannot think of any whose original lead singer died - which is what I think you meant. As great as the Back In Black album is, it is that much better to those who owned several previous AC/DC albums and followed their development as a band. There are many fans whose first time hearing AC/DC is the BIB album, and that’s fine. Nobody can help their age. I’m 62 years old and having some history with the band’s music made BIB that much better. I haven’t seen it mentioned but the prevailing thought where I grew up was that Back in Black referred to the band being back but in mourning. They certainly worked through that well with this rockin’ album!

@@andrewbayada2475 I've been a fan since the early 1980's and have read so much literature on them but have never heard this. What I have come across over the years are diehard Malcolm fans who have sought to elevate him above Angus by claiming that it was he, and not Angus, who played this solo or that solo, without any evidence. Being loving brothers, they always characterized each other as being the better guitarist, but the fact is that Malcolm made Angus the lead for a reason, and Angus is listed as the lead on every album. The only song that I know of where Malcolm joined him playing lead, albeit very briefly in the beginning, was Soul Stripper, until Angus takes over. They are both guitar prodigies, as I can't think of any other brothers who are responsible for so many classic riffs and songs. Even more...the whole of the band is also greater than the sum of its parts.

this really is a song Bon would have written. sorry to upset people but the youngs could not write anything like this. they were not good lyric writers. and as for Brian writing these songs he did nothing comparable after this album. not saying he didn't write some of the songs but this one, have a drink on me and at least rock n roll ain't noise pollution sound very much like Bon's words. it's funny how his lyric notebook was never recovered but when he died he had a lot of the songs written.. the only things returned to his family were personal items. true or not we will never know but the later albums prove it to me that the youngs could not write lyrics. sorry if I upset people but although this is a great album Bon should have got credit for it. his family does get royalties for it though apparently. if he didn't write it why would they? makes you think.

@@jeff316 I didn't say that read what I said and I'll make it clear for you the youngs are not good lyrically but brilliant with the music. I said Brian probably wrote some of the songs but I highlighted what I reckon Bon wrote. Take any album after BIB and tell me the lyrics were the same. What happened to bons book of lyrics that he always had? He used that to write his ideas when they came to him. Do you really think he had nothing written when malcolm said to him they'll be ready for him in a couple of weeks?

See what i'm sayin' remember when i told you that i couldn't pick a favorite? Now you know what i'm talkin' about. You probably don't remember. You have a lot of comments to read. There is no best song on this album they're all great. Except one! Night of the long knives isn't that great. But one mediocre song on the whole album. That's pretty fucking good.
