More titles of theirs: All Out of Love…..Lost In Love…..Keeping Love Alive…..The One That You Love…..The Power of Love…..sensing a theme here? Great music, group and voices. Can’t wait to hear what you pick next!

Yes, Air Supply has the greatest catalogue of longing, desperately in love songs. I was a teenager in the 80's and when you've got hormones raging and first love these were the songs we listened to on repeat. But only in our rooms alone. It wasn't "cool" to listen to Air Supply, even though they're so amazing. They'd have been a guilty pleasure.

All out of love, sweet dreams, every woman in the world, even the nights are better, chances, and I know I’m forgetting a few. Air Supply is an Australian-English soft rock duo group who were big in the 80's. They had a lot of great songs such as "Lost In Love", "Every Woman In The World", "Here I Am (Just When I Thought I Was Over You)", "Sweet Dreams", "I'll Never Get Enough Of You", "Even The Nights Are Better", "Young Love", "Two Less Lonely People In The World", "Just As I Am" etc.

Aussie duo (Graham Russell on guitar was originally English) Russell Hitchcock's voice is stellar. In the '80' it became 'uncool' to like their music, which was mostly ballads/soft rock whatever, They were one of the few Aussie acts to be more successful in America, and people forgot they ever came from here, lol. Very talented guys. Nice pick up on the Jim Steinman connection. ✌❤

The very obvious musical and orchestral kinship between MEAT LOAF's hits and this song by AIR SUPPLY can be explained by the fact that they both wrote the same song: JIM STEINMAN. The latter also composed "Total Eclipse of the Heart" sung by BONNIE TYLER, "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" sung by CELINE DION... and many others. JIM STEINMAN is a musical signature (rock opera type) that is recognizable among all. He was a genius in this field... R.I.P. (2021) Thank you.

I have been an Air Supply fan since 1980. I have seen them perform live twice and they are incredible! They are celebrating their 50th Anniversary next year and they are still touring the world performing. The lead singer is Russell Hitchcock from Australia and the tall blonde one is Graham Russell originally from England. In my opinion they are a very underrated band. To me the best male vocalists of this time were Steve Perry of Journey, Peter Cetera of Chicago, Freddie Mercury of Queen and Russell Hitchcock of Air Supply. Some of their other great songs include Lost in Love, All out of Love, Now and Forever, Goodbye, The Power of Love, Two less lonely people, Every woman in the world....and I could go on. Please also check out Abba, Chicago, Bee Gees and the live version of Whiter Shade of Pale in Denmark by Procul Harem.

Great love song for different times when women appreciated when a man showed love and affection , not your man though . If a man does that today modern women will see him as a weak , beta male and call him a loser , so most men don't say anything like this anymore . Sad how women mostly have changed the men not so much . I can see why many guys stay away from modern women their efforts are just not appreciated any more , just his money .

Even without the video, I always felt like it was a song about a one-sided relationship. The singer is fully committed and totally in live, but the other person is not really in love and just going through the motions. You can think of this as the next logical extension of Meatloaf's "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad."

The song is a reworking of the main title theme from the 1980 film A Small Circle of Friends, for which Jim Steinman wrote the score. I always took the message as, we so easily make hurt, anger, emotional pain and all the other negatives in ife. If we can so easily making these things out of nothing, then we can build love and grow into that just as easily. Or we should be.

One of my favorite songs of all time... the video is not that great though. This is a Jim Steinman song... who wrote for Meat Loaf. Around this same time, Bonnie Tyler did the Steinman song "Total Eclipse of the Heart", Barry Manilow released the Steinman song "Read 'Em and Weep", and Barbra Streisand released the Steinman song "Left In the Dark", and Jim Steinman, himself, released "Rock and Roll Dreams Come Through". As for Air Supply, "Just As I Am" is another rock ballad similar to this one.
