I saw Andy in Concert when I was 9 years old. My parents took my Best friend and I in 1977, after I begged them to buy us tickets. We were third row center and we stood on our fold down seats and screamed our heads off. I was hooked . We loved him so much. We went home and played his 45’s all night long. His death was devastating. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great reaction Mo! Andy Gibb was just as talented as his older brothers. Shadow Dancing was written by all four brothers. So that was them backing their baby brother. You should react to Andy's first big hit "I Want to Be Your Everything". It was written by Barry who provided the backup vocals for Andy. I'm sure you're going to love it💘 Best wishes Baby Girl!

For those who aren’t familiar with Andy, listen to the rest of his catalog…like his brothers, he was a natural. Andy was such a bright and promising star who’s flame extinguished way too quickly. Such a great voice and demeanor…and a huge premature loss. His sound is a great memory from my 70’s childhood.
@nberrypatch02

My older cousin introduced me to great music from a young age. I was about 10 yrs old when she bought Andy's new single "I just want to be your everything" & she had me come over to hear it. She played it over & over on a constant loop, until we both had the lyrics memorized. I just turned 55 on Tuesday (Apr 5) & I still know every word of that song & "Shadow Dancing". Those two songs have been burned into my long term memory, so I'll still be able to sing it verbatim when I'm in my 80's or 90's... if my body lasts that long - LOL! I'm so glad more people are starting to discover the music of the "baby Bee Gee" brother. Even though Andy was 12 years younger than Barry (the oldest), they could have been twins. They share very similar facial features & vocal sound. Barry & Andy looked more like twins than the actual fraternal twins, Robin & Maurice did - LOL! Andy is the baby of the family & he was still little when his older brothers hit it big on the music charts back in the 1960's. With the help of his brothers, Andy embarked upon a solo career, which he was very successful at, even in the short amount of time he created music. He put out a few albums, appeared on many TV shows, & also hosted a variety show called SOLID GOLD that did weekly countdowns of the most popular songs of the time. On occasion, he joined The Bee Gees while on their concert tours or TV specials. Sadly, he died just a few days past his 30th birthday (1988) from a heart condition, which was greatly exacerbated by years of alcohol & drug use. He was the youngest, but the first to pass away. Then twin #1 Maurice died in 2003, followed by the other twin, Robin in 2012. Barry, the oldest boy and his sister, Leslie (first born) are the last two surviving Gibb siblings left...

I enjoyed your reaction and agree with your impressions; "sophisticated" is how it feels. I am very glad that you in 2022 have the SAME feelings as we had when this song first was released. SO nice to know his music transcends all time and cultures, a testament to great quality music composition. I'm just sorry he passed away much too soon. Please treat yourself to Andy's "I Just Want to Be Your Everything." It has the same capacity to pick me up as when it was first released, So now YOU can enjoy Disco music even if you weren't there! God richly Bless and Keep You and your channel! I consider the light exposure to simply a reflection of your happy spirit! Your honest reactions are precious! Keep it coming!!

I loved your reaction! I know it's hard not to tap a foot, sway a bit or just move your body like you mean it because their rhythms were so on point, you couldn't help yourself! The Bee Ges and Andy were a staple in my own collection growing up. (I'm a real ballads kinda guy!) Sadley three of the brothers are gone, Barry, the oldest is the only one left, but left a legacy to when songs told a story or were the best way for others to express their feelings for a special someone. To answer a few questions, you had... Yes, Andy had toured with his brothers from time to time. Yes, he did write or co-write some of his songs, but Barry wrote most of his chart toppers. Yes, the Bee Gees sang almost all of his backup vocals. Keep them coming! (the reactions!) It does me good to see you and hear you speak of a love we share, in the music! Hey..... try this one from Andy... "Don't Throw It All Away" (our love) and do a reaction video on it.... You won't be sorry! (((Hugs)))!

Such a musical family dynasty the four brothers were! By the end of the 70s the had en massed a ton of hit records! In 1978 alone they had five of the top 10 hits of the year between Andy and his brothers group. And they were all #1 hits! This song here, "Shadow Dancing" was the #1 hit for '78. And definitely had that Bee Gees sound! Sorry to say but Andy, Maurice and Robin are no longer with us. Barry alone survives. What a legacy of great music they have created not just for themselves but for other artists as well. And us the fans! Thank you
