the children did not sing live though, they hardly mimic it on stage :) (where not even mics nearby) i was there to :) besides that fun evening

Symphonic Synergy was their recent concerts in The Netherlands, with , as you see, full orchestra and choir. They have a couple more of these concerts coming up in Mexico. Song is the 2nd new song this year. They are working on album #9, I would think that this one is included on that record. Simone's vocals sound awesome here. You have heard Mark's harsh vocals before, in the Kingdom of Heaven videos for sure. When you do come back to EPICA, I'll suggest a couple of the heavier songs that definitely have the harsh: "Consign To Oblivion" live at the Zenith in Paris, and "Design Your Universe", live from the 2013 Retrospect 10th anniversary show.

I agree. My first Epica show was to less than 100 people at a pokey club in London. Although the Symphonic Synergey show was incredible my favourite has to be the Paradiso gig.

a back and forth betwin Simone and Mark is quite common in epica songs , there are a few songs out there that are a lot heavyer as well
