Seriously not over it , never will be. I never thought I could be affected by a "Celebrity" ... but he wasn't that way to me and probably to a lot of others who his music has helped and were affected by in such a way ... its seriously indescribable.. no matter how hard I try I cannot explain how amazing his voice is because I do not think that we have words rather than emotion. #LoudLove

Rewatching this great reaction today. This whole album is a MASTERPIECE. I was lucky to see Chris touring on this incredible album . A beautiful memory ❤️ But I loved seeing Chris when he toured on his solo SCREAM album he made with Timbaland. Some of his diehard fans didn't like it too much. But I absolutely loved the unique electronic pop sound. I think it's so awesome that our phenomenal famous rock stars want to try new sounds. And I'm always loyal to any music they create. We lost such an incredible talent way to soon.

Yes! Great reaction. Chris is my fave! 3 bands and great solo career. Amazing voice and always deep lyrics. This song was about waiting for death. Another great Audioslave tune is I am the Highway. For 2 very different sides of Chris check out Soundgarden’s slaves and Bulldozers and his solo song Sunshower. Also TEmple of the Dog’s Hunger Strike with Eddie Vedder which many say is the quintessential grunge song and Say hello to Heaven which many site as one of his best lyrics and vocals are both a must.❤😊

One of my favorite songs ever. I know I have a LOT of favorite songs, but this is up there. You're so right saying in the beginning a match made in heaven (between Rage members and Chris). *insert heart eyes* and at the solo. Chris Cornell had a four octave range by the way. It's such a shame we'll never hear more from him. Favorite Audioslave songs: Like A Stone, Gasoline, Your Time Has Come, Cochise, Be Yourself.

Audioslave is one of those bands that have a signature sound, something very unique from other bands, maybe it's Cornel's voice, maybe is Morello's guitar.. idk, but nothing compares to the songs of this album. Like a Stone is the most "comercial" song in the album... And I haven't seen anyone in the coments mention Cochise, Gasoline or Show Me How to Live wich makes me very surprised. Even if you're not going to react to them for the chanel, I would firmly recomend you listening to them sometime.

If you want examples of stunning melodies and lyrics that Chris Cornell wrote, here are just a few from his three bands and his body of solo work: 'Seasons' (solo) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/i2qqep2ciM1-p8k 'When I'm Down' (solo) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/aIvVp5WQbMR2ic0 'Like Suicide' (Soundgarden)- Either the album version: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aH6so2trnN9mY5Y ... or the acoustic alternate version: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q2rMgYmtiNp3m9E (such a great setting for Chris' voice) 'I Am the Highway' (here's a live solo acoustic performance by Chris of this song he wrote while with Audioslave) -kzbin.info/www/bejne/lau9fHSQqppjpc0 'Fell on Black Days' (Soundgarden) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/r4Tdo31qfLd5bdU 'Say Hello to Heaven' (Temple of the Dog) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/pF6bpJKJZdhmqaM 'Higher Truth' (solo) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/bYeXo4ekfNhrgNE 'Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart' (solo) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKGwl42Gdshkock 'Times of Trouble' ( Temple of the Dog) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/pIfOfq2tgL-Vf6c Fun fact: Stone Gossard (formerly guitarist of Mother Love Bone, now of Pearl Jam) recorded the music/riff to this song and sent it to Eddie Vedder to provide a melody and lyrics for a song for what would become Pearl Jam. Eddie's version is known as "Footsteps." Meanwhile, Chris was recording with Temple of the Dog, a tribute for late Mother Love Bone lead singer Andy Wood, Chris' former roommate and good friend who had died of an overdose. Chris collaborated with Stone and another former MLB member, bassist Jeff Ament, on the Temple album, as well as with Soundgarden drummer Matt Cameron and guitar player Mike McCready, who would also join PJ. (Eddie ended up guesting on Hunger Strike and contributing some other backup vocals.) The Temple of the Dog version of Stone's riff, with lyrics and melody by Chris, is called 'Times of Trouble.' There's also a mashup of both versions out there on YT. The Keeper (solo, for the film Machine Gun Preacher) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/apqVo6yFnq1jqLM

I hope to explain the moral dilemma in religion for you. If someone is a Buddhist and lived their life to better humanity and the world, then they know God. God is pure good and when He created everything "everything was good". The requirements to Heaven are to know God and not deny Jesus. God wants all of His children to come Home (to Heaven). He isn't trying to trick us or set us up to fail. The Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost work to reveal themselves so each of us can have a personal relationship with God. We don't judge or question God's timing. For example, you aren't a believer I'll assume, but that gives me no reason to assume I won't see you in Heaven. Jesus may come to you and reveal himself at any point. That's decided on when you are ready. As a Christian, my job is to help you to understand. This may guide you to being ready sooner. The only people that are truly destined for Hell are those that know God and deny Him till death (forgiveness is always possible before death) or blaspheme the Holy Ghost (which is unforgivable). God is waiting on you for a personal relationship with you, and when you're ready, you will understand. Just be open to the possibility and learn about Him.

In Christian belief, God is pure and spotless. From the time man first sinned God has separated himself as a Holy God away from sin. No amount of our good deeds can wash that sin away making us worthy of God’s presence. For that reason He sent His Son to live and die the sinless life. Upon his resurrection from death, If we confess the reality of our helplessness to defeat sin in our lives and repent of our ways believing that His Son Jesus died to wash away our sins, his pure spotless blood is applied to us by Grace, reconciling us with God.

It’s song is the closest thing I’ve ever had to a spiritual experience lmao the first time I heard it I just sat there with my eyes closed, moving, and I literally cried. Heavy tears too, like it just made me feel so many things at once and it was a lot. One of the best songs ever written, sung by one of the greatest vocalists of all time. Anyone who doesn’t like Audioslave, and Chris…is just wrong, period lol the world lost something truly special.
