I had to rip up my BadMotorFinger shirt at a junkyard like... 20+ years ago as a chrome bumper cut me up pretty good so I could bandage the wound and keep on picking through parts. My sock was full of dried blood at the end of that day. That was the last time I wore a Soundgarden shirt, but I still have the album on tape in my summer car (which I was getting the parts for way back when) that I play occasionally. RIP Cornell.

"These included the painkillers Naloxone and Butalibital." Wroooong! Neither of those medications are painkillers. Naloxone is actually used to reverse opioid overdoses, and was administered by paramedics upon arrival in case he had overdosed on heroin or a different opioid. Butalibital is a barbiturate, which while not being a painkiller, is often prescribed for headaches. While this isn't the most egregious display of misinformation, it's disappointing given the journalistic nature of this youtube channel.

I mean after the first one I knew they were good but, they found their depth when they made Soup- and it was so much more than I expected. Same for Cornell's solo work- Euphoria Morning- this album just blew me away. I knew to expect something brilliant but, it went so far beyond any expectations I had it just shocked me. Chris cornell is 1 of the greatest music artist of all time. His voice was able to hit 4 levels that most singers can only hit 1 or 2. He proved, how good he was and how devoted of a loving father to his kids. He is sorely missed and never forgotten ❤ But, what I dont get about the toxicology, is, I thought he took Ativan more than he should have, so if he didn't have more medications in his system, why would he be slurring and his movements during the show was not normal🤔🧐 I dont think nor believe he would just take his life. He loved his children and being with his family, making good music on his terms, helping to create a foundation to save lives... now I am not saying he was not depressed. Depression hits all kinds of people, famous and non famous, so I am not ruling out that depression had nothing to do with it, he dealt with depression for years but how can you take all those medications and not get screwed up? I am also not saying this was foul play but there are just some things that, dont seem quite normal, usual or add up. Like for instance, Ativan or Lorazepam is a dangerous drug and should only be used under supervision because it is so strong on having suicidal thoughts even though it is meant to help with anxiety and nerves of the brain, it is way too strong. And, I thought the bodyguard contacted management, having trouble with them getting his room open..... I dont know, maybe I am thinking too deep and personally I feel, that there is more to his death that meets the ears & eyes. I am sure we will never never know exactly what happened to Chris Cornell on that day & night but I just pray 🙏 that he knows he is loved, we remember him, what he stands for and that he can rest in peace and his kids can be able to continue to live the way he would have wanted them to. Making a difference, a change that will make him proud and them feel closer to him in their hearts & soul, along with all his Chris Cornell fans. He gave all of us, great songs that will stick with us for life and remind us, to always be thankful and be there for our loved ones and for the ones we never met, before we disappear, so we know he is the keeper by keeping the promise, doing what he would want & love. I never got the chance to see him live like my boyfriend has more than once - lucky boyfriend but Chris's music is a part of my soul now. Maybe 1 day, we all will get the chance to see him again and hopefully hear his angelic voice, play the strings and let us, be in peace, in the front row. Love you Chris ❤❤

Its not up to her. Shes not a bandmate of soundgarden. So thats why soundgarden is suing her cause chris and the rest of the band was in the middle of working on their new album until he passed. So yeah i hope the judge makes her give the recordings. That they were writing together

@@corbz273 yeah but we know its all bs. She started screeching that when they started suing her. Then on top of that when lily cornell had a mental breakdown due to the death of her father. She refused to pay her college tuition. Which was horrible not to mention lily cornell was taken out of the will.

It’s Grunge. A cash grab channel that occasionally has something semi interesting to watch. You can’t expect much from a channel with writers/video editors who don’t know much of anything of the subjects they’re told to research. Grunge couldn’t give a shit less about Cornell, or really anyone they make videos about. It’s revenue to them. Yet I still watch them lol. Gross.

It’s because they were talking about Temple of the dog right as they showed Eddie Vedder who also sung in Temple of the Dog, Is this a serious comment?

LOL got to say you're technically right , during that moment they are talkin about Chris , and showing Eddie, but hopefully it's just that they're showing the video from Hunger Strike and that just happens to be the Epic well-known visual from that video , Eddie , singing in a cornfield LMAO I had to check and see what you were talking about because I was confused LMFAO

I went to Fort Rock with my dad in Fort Meyers, Florida on April 30th 2017, where they were headlining after a terrible Perfect Circle show. Maynard's voice sounded awful and the band's mixing crew did a horrible job. And then Chris, Matt, Kim, and Ben took the stage and I was in awe with how they sounded. He died just a couple weeks later and I can't imagine having missed to that show. That show and Maiden Legacy of the Beast are the best shows I've ever been to

I won't comment on the circumstances of his death or his marriage, but I will say, as a man who also suffers with depression and attempted to take his own life 2 weeks before his 23rd birthday, I'm glad I survived. It woke me up. I wish Cornell survived. His spirit, his voice, everything of him would've impacted the world more and more. I wasn't the biggest fan of soundgarden or any of his bands, but i respected his impact as a person and his impact on the grunge movement. His death along with Chester's brought great sadness to me. I don't usually get emotional of celebrity deaths, but his hit me hard. What he left behind and imagining the pain he was in, it's just depressing trying to understand why he took his own life.

It is NO COINCIDENCE that the late Chris Cornell's life was taken a few short months before his good friend Chester Bennington of Linking Park. Both men singing lyrics of healing, only to be snuffed out later with the excuse of their depression used against them by sellouts close to them. These men were sacrificial murders. I don't care what you think of me.

@mariececile3973 worse yet, he was murdered dude, he & Chester Bennington were both "suicided" for speaking out against the Holly-wierd Chile zex traficking- (intentional mispell) The exact manner in which they were suicided, from a door or closet, is the Holly-wierd maphia's standard way to off people who "talked"- Robin Williams, David Carradine- & a list of about 25 recognizable Hollywood names- sad but true

I was really fortunate enough to see him on one of his solo shows in 2017 I think… because a few years later, “Fort Rock” festival Sound Garden closed the 3 day festival on a Sunday night and opened with SpoonMan… We’ve lost so many gr8 artists He is one of them that we never know why or what happened…. However, he was one of the Greats and will be missed forever… RIP Chris… I still can’t believe it… My prayers goto his Family and Friends…

I hate when these channels do stories of people & only mention a child or two of the person there doing a story on & not all of them . How is that supposed to make the unmentioned children feel ? Chris Cornell also had his first daughter with band manager Susan Silver her name is Lillian Jean Cornell & she is very beautiful & talented in her own right ! 💞❤️💞
