Great reaction - and that look on your face ... pretty much everybody who watched this same video 10 years ago had that same expression.🤣 You won't have seen anything like BABYMETAL - not only does it not happen in the US, it doesn't happen anywhere - and before BABYMETAL it didn't happen in Japan either. They introduced kawaii and JPop hooks and melodies along with choreographed dance to metal. They are original, they are unique and they are the best live entertainment of any kind. You don't need to understand what they are saying to enjoy it (as Su-metal said "Don't think. Feel."), but watch the choreo and it sometimes helps with expressing the meaning of a song or a lyric. In this instance it is just a fun song. They want chocolate but worry about their weight - but it is chocolate, it would be so nice, they would be so happy and they worked hard, so can they have a piece of chocolate please?🍫🍫🍫

Haha, welcome back to Babymetal! This is one of their fun and goofy songs. This went viral in 2014 and helped propel Babymetal onto the world stage. "American metal fans may not like this", I'm sure there are plenty of hold outs that only listens to "classic" heavy metal, but don't let that fool you. Babymetal announced their Nov 2024 US tour a few weeks ago, and half the cities are already sold out. They even added a 3rd date for CA and a 2nd for NY already, lol. If you want to see a more serious and more epic song: *Road of Resistance (Official Live).* You'll truly appreciate their stage presence and talent in this one. 🤘🦊 🍅🎂

I was at the festival they played at where Rob Zombie had to defend them against many negative comments. It’s a fun show. Sure, I’m an old school metal head and into many punk bands as well. But I enjoyed their show. These little legends put so much energy into entertaining the crowd. I’m all for that🤘

Babymetal has some fun songs but the girls dont play the music which made me find interest in Band Maid who are extremely talented women rockers from Japan all in maid outfits. Then other bands like Aldious, Mary's Blood, Wagakki Band, etc. Japan is where its at for women metal bands.
