Just imagine. This album wasn’t guaranteed. Su & Moa recently did an interview with Billboard. In the interview, Su had said their plan was to have a 10-year BabyMetal career. After 10 years, they took a break from BabyMetal. They accomplished their goal. But it was Su’s love of performing and pushing BabyMetal to different directions. Meanwhile, Moa kept her promise to Su to always support her. Pay attention of the track, Believing. The lyrics epitomize what Su was talking about the inspiration for The Other One.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 "Difference and Diversity" is another name of BABYMETAL. Where are the guys who said new BABYMETAL was inclining to J-pop side and not heavy enough? You should not hasten to be judgmental about them. 😄 Regarding the contrast between English lyrics and Japanese lyrics, Su said "I understand that two languages express two-facedness of human being". [Source : magazine PMC vol.27 page 39] So the difference between almost natural voice and effected voice may be intended to emphasize the dichotomy. And the passage too fast to grasp "Double, double, toil and trouble" and "Fire burn and cauldron bubble" is by Moa. Su said in the article she loves the part by Moa in the 2nd verse. [the same source] I can't to wait to see this song performed live at the venue THIS WEEKEND (April 1/2). I have tickets !! 😍

This is my favorite track on the album for two reasons. It's my favorite chorus on ANY Babymetal song and for all the reasons you mentioned with composition. Composition is key. Heavy, soft, melodic, monochrome... err.. monotone, electric, pop, rock are NOTHING compared to composition. You can make a song with any or all of those elements but if the composition isn't amazing (like every Babymetal song) it falls flat... I have come to realize that Heavy and Kawaii don't define Babymetal. It's the way that the music is composed.

Nice reaction. Their new album is number 1 on itunes rock and metal categories. Babymetal knows how to br br bring it. And with this song they brought the heavy down on us. Many of us can't wait to see them perform all these new songs. Babymetal doing different styles songs is their way. And one of the many reasons we love them. I don't know how they decide what songs will go on their albums, but I have to hand it to them. They get it right every time. Impressive.

This song was so different from the previously released songs from the album that I was really thrown off for a bit, but after a second listen, I really loved it. "Tales of the Destinies" was the last full on prog metal song they did and that song was so CRAZY they only performed it live once and with choreography!! 🤘🦊🤘

Yes, this song is hard, progressive one. But the other new songs left on the new album, they are so good too. I can not wait you to react to them, zum zum, haha. The busyness of mine in the end of this year (2023 Nendo) has finally come to an end, phew. Last night, I had a drink at a familiar Izakaya bar near my house. I had a few sick moments on YT lately, though, anyway, I'm almost getting ready to go to the Yokohama concert on 1th April. Takano Seminar YTc predicted that Kami Band the West might make an appearance there in preparation for the Sabaton tour. I'm only going to be there for the first day, Black Night, again, but I'm going to enjoy it!

Yeah that diversity it's one of the things I like the most of Babymetal! There are 2 japanese groups that are similar on that aspect: - Maximum the Hormone have some fully poppy songs, and others that are full of screams and growls, with stuff in the between - Nemophila, even if not as much as BM, they also have some good variety, expecially in the songs that are not put out as MV! I would like for you to check out one of the new BM tracks that doesn't have a video, but you can find the song with Subtitles on Babymetaltube's channel! The song name is "Metalizm", and it's my favourite of this album :D

I just watched someone do a reaction (with filters) of the LIVE performance of Monochrome from the second night of last months Tokyo concerts (must have been taken from the Blu Ray set) and I will tell you that when you finally see the LIVE Pro Shot video of that performance I think your jaw will drop.
