These guys were so badass Live!! I'm so grateful I grew up in this time of truly exceptional diverse artists. These guys had the most memorable drum solos I've ever seen. Key word seen. I have been to Rush 5 times with Neal Peart. Bad Company showcased the drummer by members in a song slowly dropping to the side, eventually quieting to just the drummer. Like the end of burning sky. Then dry ice smoke began to pour out from the drum kit. And as it thickened so did drumming. But before it completly obscured him, he raised his arms and each drumstick had a laser pointer end that turned on! one green, one orange! Then he jumped back into solo and you watched the music as the two lasers pummelled the kit. Eventually the smoke completely engulfed the entire kit. You could only hear drum solo as you watched the two lasers piercing through the fog and shooting all across the ceiling of Lakeland Civic Center!!! OMG! IT WAS MINDBLOWING! Once solo ended the fog was cleared as the band rejoined and waved it off. Then they just jumped into next tune! I will never forget it!! They Rocked the House that Evening. It was Bad Company!!🎉🎉

I saw them on their first US tour in Spokane in 1975 when they opened for Edgar Winter Group. The crowd was yelling for Edgar to come on, so my buddy jumped up on stage during a song, climbed up on top of a stack of amps, took his shirt off and started screaming back at the crowd to rock and roll, pumping his fist in the air. The roadies were going to throw him off the stage, but Paul Rodgers said no, let him stay. It worked. The crowd got into it and the heckling stopped. What a good concert.
