One of Bad Company's best songs. I saw them live in 1976 (one of the best concerts of my life) and this song KILLED!!! A fantastic and underrated rock band. Paul Rodgers is not only one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, rock vocalists of all time, but not many people realize that he also played rhythm guitar and piano ... as he did in this song. The other three members of the band were also astounding in their own right, but to me the best aspect of Bad Company is the chemistry between all the members, culminating in that no-bullshit rock mastery. One of my favourite bands.

One of my favourite Bad Company songs. Especially the second part of the song with the piano accompaniment (if that's a word). That piano drives a certain tension and melancholy as a look back on a better past when NOT running with the pack. It's like heading straight for a tragic end.

This band is yet another (of SOOOOO many) example of the fantastic music we enjoyed during the GREATEST ERA of music=the 70's.... There's no greater decade of music, ROCK, R-n-B, Disco, Progressive Rock, ECT..... You stay on your journey in to the music history of the 70's and you'll forever understand the wonderfulness our ears, minds, and hearts were given. I am so grateful for being a young kid threw my teenage years in the 70's...... And being a musician, pianist+drummer, gave me a deeper appreciation and experience of this music..... Explore more Kansas guys. There's a complete album to explore= Leftoverture+Point of No Return+Audio Vision+Song For America, Masque ECT. I would suggest you turn the clock back and listen to Song For America..... It's shows what their musical foundation was built on and the direction their music was going/evolving into.... Then review the complete album-Leftoverture! A musical masterpiece from start to finish. My favorite album of ALL TIME. Enjoy your journey gentlemen
