There are a number of Band Maid songs where Kanami leaves the Rhythm guitar entirely to Miku and just does a solo for the entire song. If you strip out the vocals of No God, Kanami is just going Ham in the background, then they just turn her up in the mix when it's necessary to balance the vocal track. It's insane.

It continues to amaze me how good Band Maid sounds, even when it isn't a live video and when viewers are only getting to see their work before it is honed and put on a stage in one of their amazing performances.

Saiki the lead singer has had throat surgery in the past so the band are very careful with her voice. They play 2+ hour sets so to give Saiki a break around mid-set they do three things. 1. Play an instrumental, 2. Miku (rhythm guitar) takes lead vocals for a song or two (she usually has one track per album where she is lead vocalist) and 3. Miku will do her legendary and hilarious "Omajinai Time"("Magic Spell Time") MC set. Then Saiki comes back on to finish the set. Even though Saiki no longer needs a break nowadays, it's become more of a tradition. So yeah, they have a number of really cool instrumental tracks. I think the worse thing KZbin did was introduce the auto sound suppression when the reactor talks, because if the reactor always talks the sound of the music is always at a lower volume so the viewer misses a lot of the music....just a minor peeve of mine with a KZbin tool. The Fab Four were on FIRE here.

When we talk and record the video, the sound of the music doesn't go down. When I edit the video, I always keep the same volume that I think sounds good in my headphones, because otherwise is hard to edit without hearing it. I didn't know youtube does this, but yea, watching this video now, I can hear that the volume of the song goes a little down when we talk. I don't know if it's real or placebo now, but I'll investigate further. With our limited time with the day to day job and chores, is hard to edit 100% perfect, but I'm trying my best. All feedback is great, and now I think you for pointing this out, but at the same time right now, I don't really know what to do about it.

@@WeWatchedThat2 I thought for sure it was a KZbin thing because so many new reactors have it going on. I talked to other reactors about different things and they tell me YT says to do this or that because you'll get more likes. One is to make your voices much louder than the video, Which I feel is wrong because it make the viewer have to dance with the volume control up-down-up-down. You're all good, thanks for your videos, You two are fun.
