Shows what a gentleman BB was when he gave GM the bow. BB knew that GM was a far greater guitarist. All along it was the sound of Lucille that we loved about BB's playing. That low, slow strum was utterly recognizable, and mesmerizing. On the other hand, no guitarist has ever intertwined various genres into their playing the way GM did. You'll hear just about every form of music in this masterpiece, by GM GARY HAS TO BE ONE OF THE GUITAR GOATS! First Time Hearing Gary Moore The Messiah Will Come Reaction - KZbin

The best performance I've ever seen by Gary Moore, or any other guitar player for that matter, is "THE MESSIAH WILL COME AGAIN". If you haven't reacted to that it will cause you to wet your pants. I've seen BB King live - twice. He is amazing and a really cool guy.

BB was renowned for liking to go toe to toe with other guitarist to see just what they had. One performance I saw was with the likes of Buddy guy, Robert cray, Jimmy Vaughn, Jeff Beck, Garry Moore a few others that escape me at this time and Eric Clapton when BB begins and ti goes down the line and Eric is at the end of the line kind of standing a few feet behind everyone else and when it come to be Clapton's turn his playing out does everyone else and BB looks down the line at Clapton and every guitarist in the line is smiling knowing that he beat then if that's what you want to call it. BB says OK boys time to redeem your selves and they start all over and when it comes to Eric again he does the same exact thing and BB just throws up his arms and everyone laughs and you can tell Clapton is embarrassed. I wish I could remember what show that was and I could find the video because it really showed how much talent was on that stage and I don't think we will ever see the likes of that again. I believe it was after SRV had passed so sometime in the early 90s

As you like this you will really, really like this track: Little Red Rooster With " Howling wolf, Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts. you may have to fish about for it and it may only be available in audio. But its worth every cent. Make sure to get the copy with the introduction/playing lesson by The Wolf (bearing in mind who he trying to show how to play). Also take a look at his Mannish Man which is believed to be the origin of "Bad to The Bone" by George Thorogood and The Destroyers. Destroyers as used in the Terminator film.

I do believe Kirk Hammett of Metallica now owns and plays the Peter Green Les Paul guitar that Gary Moore is playing here, apparently paying a little under 2 million for it. So it still has a good home with someone who does justice to it.
