Great reaction, with you lost for words, other than "Bad Man". The first Gary Moore record I bought was the G-Force single "White Knuckles / Rockin' and Rollin'" in 1980, ideal for a teenager loving hard rock. He has an amazing catalogue of brilliant music.

Honestly, it doesn't get much better than this one, but Gary Moore was incredible and there are plenty more great songs and performances of his to check out. Here's a performance from 1987 much earlier in his career, before his blues period. This a live performance of his song Empty Rooms. Hope you'll check it out and enjoy it as well. Nice vocals, fabulous melody and great guitar solo, of course. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hmTHkqN6ial9sM0si=G-N85UE7RI1WsUlt

I saw Gary Moore with Thin Lizzy in the 70s. Riveting. Been a fan since that night. The guy just had it and cranked out one great album after another. And in typical American lunacy, the only time I've ever heard him on the radio was on Z-Rock. (Are you old enough to remember that?) And in typical blues fashion, died nearly penniless due to taxes and malfeasance. The great ones really do die young. Way too young. RIP Lynott RIP Moore.

My favorite Gary Moore tracks are the Blues For Greeny sessions where he gives homage to Peter Green who formed the original Fleetwood Mac band before the girls. It was a raw blues band then. Peter Green gave Gary his Gibson electric and Gary records an entire album playing Peter Green's songs with that guitar.
