The Bee Gees were the Best. Their voices were absolutely beautiful, especially Barry and his falsetto. You don't hear voices like this today. So gifted, so talented and pure raw talent. No auto tune, no yelling and screaming, they Just could sing and the Harmony was ridiculous! Amazing, amazing voices from God!❤❤😊😊❤❤😊😊They are brothers and their music started in the 1970's!

In the sixties! I saw them on TV in Australia when they were young teenagers. They moved to England in 1966, or, 1967, and started recording hits. A year later they moved to the U.S. and started getting big hits in USA and all over the world. Great songwriters and one of the best bands ever!

Actually began in 1960 on Australian TV and then when they returned to the UK and were taken up by the same company as controlled the Beatles (different Manager) in 1966 they began making hits. They had 3 platinum discs before becoming mega popular with Saturday night Fever.

Stayin Alive is not only one of the best-selling singles of all time with 31 million copies but is also the goat song of the 70s. Sir Barry Alan Crompton Gibb only had two solo album without ever landing a number 1 hit, but with the BeeGees and with other artists like Barbra Streisand, Dionne Warwick, Diana Ross & at least Celine Dion he landed more than 50 number 1 hits around the globe. To this until today unmatched and all time world record. No one wrotes more No.1 hits than Barry Gibb.

Bee Gees started singing as kids in the 50s in Australia. They went back to England in the late 60s and made it big. They had 2 or 3 down years, during which they hit upon their new sound which catapulted them to the pinnacle during the mid to late 70s. They wrote numerous hits for other artists, including in the 80s. They kept putting out music until the early 2000s when we lost Mo. Bee Gees forever! BTW, check out Jive Talkin. I think you'll love it!

Bee Gees were active end of the 1950s through the '90s. This song is from the height of their career in the second half of the 70s; it was part of the famous "Saturday Night Fever" film soundtrack (which is the prime reason the Gibbs are often thought of as a disco group, when in fact they were very much more than that). Barry Gibb, eldest of the three, is now the only surviving member of the trio. He is still fairly active in music. He was interviewed on one of the US network talk shows just this past week... there's a new documentary streaming about the Bee Gees, Barry has a new album out, and a biopic about the trio is in the works...

This is the intro track on the great disco film Saturday Night Fever starring John Travolta, he struts along walking to this track at the beginning, so powerful. All music written by the Bee Gees and some performed by them and other artists too.

I grew up listening to the Bee Gees, & you have no idea how happy it makes me, to see the younger generation discover the music we fell in love with !!! Barry Gibb, in my opinion, has the best falsetto voice ever, & what makes it so incredible, is that in his falsetto, he also used his vibrato, which is very rare! Thank you so much for this, they were brothers, & Barry is the last one, but please review more of their music, you will not be disappointed, & they span over years, & crossed many genres 😍 I also believe, that if there is music in Heaven, it would sound like the Bee Gee's ❤️❤️❤️

You have an infectious smile! Your reactions are genuine and you're very funny. The Bee Gees were amazing. Barry Gibb was the lead (& now, sadly, the only surviving member of the group). You asked for other Bee Gees tunes you can react to - there's "You Should be Dancing", "Tragedy", & "Nights on Broadway" (a favorite of mine). There are many more, of course. I'm an 80's "girl" but I adore the Bee Gees, listen to them all the time. Thanks for what you do, you do it well No Limit Twon!

Barry Gibb (the tall one) wrote the songs on Barbra Streisand's album "Guilty", that includes the duets "Guilty" and "What Kind of Fool". They're all ballads, not disco. He also wrote (but didn't sing on) Barbra Streisand's "Woman In Love", Dionne Warwick's "Heartbreaker", Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton's "Islands In The Stream", and the theme song of the movie "Grease" (sung by Frankie Valli).

" Do they have any other songs like this ? " Ha Ha, your just getting started. These guys have too many like this and others. Barry is the only one from this group to go solo. That didn't happen until the other two passed on. There was a younger brother Andy who had a solo career back in the 70's, but he passed on early from his own demons.

I'm 65 years old. The Bee Gees have been my favorite group since I was a teenager. Maurice and Robin are twins. Barry is my favorite but Robin had a voice that is amazing. Robin had a solo career for a while due to Barry having more lead songs. When they got back together they wrote How Do You Mend A Broken Heart . Robin's most famous song is I Started a Joke. An amazing FYI, they don't read music. They do everything by ear. Also They have written countless songs for other famous singers. Both Maurice and Robin died from cancer. I really enjoyed your reaction. I'm going to subscribe.

Their career started in the 60's and Robin (long-haired guy) was the lead singer. In the 60's, a few songs were real big hits ("I started a joke" "to love somebody" and "Massachussetts" mainly). When disco music hit the street, Barry took over the lead vocals with his unique distinctive falsetto vocals. The BeeGees were HUGE.

Disco! Best time EVER in the clubs! All three had exceptional vocal talents w chest, head, and falsetto ranges and interchanged lead and backup vocals depending on whether they were singing live or in the studio! And they never read music....Barry said once that they didn’t even know what a harmony was until well into their career. It was all produced spontaneously at the start of their career. 99% of their careers were spent w each other....they remained close their entire lives.

stayin' alive is used in cpr classes.....A study was just completed that confirms that med students and physicians who were trained to do compressions, while listening to Stayin' Alive, would maintain the ideal rhythm of 100-120* compressions per minute. Not only that, but they were able to repeat that rate when tested after many weeks.

Barry is the oldest that is the main singer. Maurice and Robin are fraternal twins. They both passed away young about 2 yrs apart. Barry is still alive. He has done numerous duets with Barbara Streisand and Olivia newri John etc. This song and alot of their music was late 70s and the disco era. Great memories for those of us that lived through it. They wrote all the music for the movie "Saturday night fever" in like only a week...

The Bee Gees were formed in Australia by three British brothers. Their early stuff is completely different from their disco music of the 1970s. They returned to England in 67. The band wasn't always a trio band. Up until 1972, the band included unrelated members. Maurice and Robin have since passed. The latter is buried in Thame, a village west of London in a church yard, not far from the house he lived in.

Bee Gees have been around for a long time, from the 60s to early 00s. So multiple eras. Barry's high falsetto was particularly prominent in his mid to late 70s work but he does have a normal voice as well you can hear in some other songs (To Love Somebody, Nights on Broadway, How Deep Is Your Love). Night Fever is probably my favourite of their disco tracks, very upbeat which along with the songs, "More Than A Woman", "How Deep Is Your Love" , "You Should Be Dancing" and "Staying Alive" were featured in the John Travolta movie "Saturday Night Fever".
