Barry and Robin's voices always blended so well together, though they were so different when singing separate leads (eg Massachussetts, I Just Gotta Get a Message to You and For Whom the Bell Tolls) and Maurice's voice was so underrated as he only took the lead on a few songs but his slightly lower register was such a great balance in the mix. Barry and Andy's facial resemblance though is spooky. Andy was shorter than Barry, like the twins were too, but I remember their mother saying that when Andy was born, "It was like having had the same baby again" and that they even had the same birthmarks.

Hey Karltin! Disco is SUPER FUN! Oh man, the 70's were so good. A couple things. The movie clips were a young John Travolta doing the iconic dance to this song in the movie "Saturday Night Fever". Bee Gees wrote the entire soundtrack which a lot of these songs are from. If you've never seen the movie & pass it one day - watch it. Here's the BIG one to catch. Didn't you notice a 4th singer in that line up? That was their litte brother Andy Gibb joining them!!! I wanted you to do this video to see him & have a little spring board to cover a few of his songs. He had a very successful solo career but sadly died at the age of 30. He sounds just like his brothers and his songs you'll really love. You'll hear his brothers sing background vocals on them. The ones you want to do are: - Shadow Dancing 🔥 - I Just Wanna Be Your Everything 🔥 - Don't Throw It All Away (optional) I'm loving the grind. Thanks for the great content my friend. ❤🎵✌

The Bee Gees were in Paris recording this Album, they already had most of the songs done. Their manager got in touch with them ,and told them he needed some songs for this movie. So the Bee Gees sent the songs they already had recorded. What's amazing is that had songs, and didn't know about the movie. That means that John Travolta was practicing dancing to other artists. The Bee Gees saw the movie later after they had this album recorded. They had no movie in mind. Didn't even know about it. Saturday Night Fever. My all time favorite movie, and favorite Album. This song was a #1 US hit in September 1976, becoming one of the biggest disco hits of the era. When the movie hit theaters in December 1977, the song was used in a famous scene from the movie where John Travolta takes over the dance floor - an appropriate choice since the song is specifically about dancing. John Travolta prepared for the movie by practicing his dance moves to this song. When he was told by the producers that "Night Fever" would be used for the sequence for which he was practicing, Travolta insisted that "You Should Be Dancing" be used instead.

It's an awesome piece music because of all the layers to it. Meant to be played loud so that it overwhelms the senses. Of all the reactors I've watched, the ones coming from hip hop backgrounds are the ones that most appreciate the energy of the Brothers Gibb (the "Bee Gees").
