Ozzy didn't write the songs, Geezer did almost all of the lyrics. This song is about Bill's (Drums) marriage failing. However Ozzy is so expressive with Geezer's words and makes so many very special melodies.

Ozzy threw a bucket of water on me at Ozzfest 2002 in Denver. Oh and I have managed to see Black Sabbath live twice. Seeing Tony, Geezer and Ozzy play together was legendary. (seeing Tony play those chords I'd loved for so many years, with his actual hands live in front of me 😮😯🤯🤯🥺😍😈

This is off Black Sabbath's Volume 4 album. That is their best album in my opinion. Tony Iommi wrote in his book that he had never played the piano before but came up with the main piano riff just playing around with it.

Geezer Butler said in a recent interview that when Ronnie James Dio replaced Ozzy he wanted to do the lyrics which meant that Geezer could concentrate on playing the bass after doing all lyrics for their first 7 albums. Damn great job by him. Changes are from Vol. 4 album (1972)
