If you like this one, then you NEED to see Charles Bradley's cover of this same song. He makes it his own, just like Mr Cash did Hurt.

Yeah, hearing his reasoning for covering it first; made me tear up almost instantly when I watched his love flow from the performance. Don't forget to tell your mom you love her, if you can. 💯

Ozzy didn't write the songs, Geezer did almost all of the lyrics. This song is about Bill's (Drums) marriage failing. However Ozzy is so expressive with Geezer's words and makes so many very special melodies.

Ozzy threw a bucket of water on me at Ozzfest 2002 in Denver. Oh and I have managed to see Black Sabbath live twice. Seeing Tony, Geezer and Ozzy play together was legendary. (seeing Tony play those chords I'd loved for so many years, with his actual hands live in front of me 😮😯🤯🤯🥺😍😈

This is off Black Sabbath's Volume 4 album. That is their best album in my opinion. Tony Iommi wrote in his book that he had never played the piano before but came up with the main piano riff just playing around with it.
