My mom just passed away, on her birthday. I played this song for her on mother's day as a teen and she cried. She struggled with mental illness my whole life but that didn't take away that I loved her dearly. Dementia is a slow thief that stole her from me and my family. Many call it the long goodbye. It was hard seeing her like that but I know she's at peace. I hope I'm comforted by it soon. Right now I'm just filled with heartache. Your video was in my recommended and I hadn't thought of this song in so long. Thank you for your reaction. It brought me a beautiful memory so for that I say thank you. Stay blessed everyone 🙏🏼

Lost my mom 7 years ago this past January which sounds crazier every time I say it. She wasn't perfect, but she loved me. I didn't really know grief until I lost her. She was the last of my family, she was my lifeline. I miss the hell out of her. My life now is like going through an attic of old stuff and just continuously picking up things that remind me of her.
