Thanks, Sceez. Brandi is a gifted artist, and she conveys her message with SUCH emotion. This is why music exists - to make you feel something, They don't come much more powerful than this. And the video - the use of black & white, the diverse collection of people mouthing the lyrics.... wow.

I'm the mom of a mixed race daughter whose father is an immigrant. I am myself the grandchild of immigrants. Many of my friends, and one of my children is queer. Tons of friends in marginalized groups. This song about loving and supporting ALL of our friends, family and neighbors instead of persecuting them hits SO deep.

But little by little I've been introducing Sceez to a bunch of bands that MOST people have never heard of. But they're just as awesome. I don't cry in front of people, but my husband is at work, and I bawled through the entire song. I was bullied, and my adult tribe is made up of people who were marginalized and bullied in horrible ways. You are so correct in saying that this is a cruel world. Thank you for protecting your babies!
