Last year when they did 4 concerts in LA, they did a press conference. They were asked about how they became so big, RM, the leader responded: “If our success is 100%, 50% of it is from ARMY, and 5% from each member. The remaining 15% are from HYBE and Big Hit. That’s why we are able to succeed”. They always begin any acceptance speech with “Armyyyyyy,…” There’s no other artists more thankful. As you learn more about the circumstances of how they started you will understand. The hardships, having no money for promotions, being put aside from tv shows and media in general because they came from a small company… They started doing vlogs on KZbin, the fan base growth was completely organic and the fans saw what was being done to them, so they became very, VERY protective. Well, 8 years later we are here: taking over the world like a storm. But they never stopped being thankful and humble. 💜

Really enjoyed your journey so far. I would like to recommend the video "An introduction to the 7 members of BTS" (2021 update) by Ida S. The first introduction video You watched was great to learning what kind of people they are but didn't really show their abilities or personalities so if you want to learn their names and positions in the group this is a great video to check out. But I have to mention that it's a lot of information at once so beware. Oh and also another good video to understanding their journey and where they came from definitely check out "The most beautiful life goes on: A Story of BTS (2021 Update) by The Asian Theory. And in the beginning they were saying "So show me" and the audience responded with "I'll show you"

My suggestion is that you watch their NPR Tiny Desk Concert!! There are three songs sung live and with a live band! I love how much you are appreciating and loving both BTS and Army! I'm so happy their music fills you with joy, that's what they do for me too. There are actually several songs that BTS have said that they have written for Army or with Army in mind 💜 They are such caring, humble, thoughtful, and creative people - that they attract fans who admire those qualities. Their constant interactions (songs, WeVerse, VLive, Twitter, Instagram, concerts, live streams) just fuel our strong bond with them. We know they love Army and care about us (Jimin is always telling us to dress warmly and eat well 💜) So we love them even more. It's the best possible symbiotic relationship! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

You kept asking "how are they doing it?" To me it's their sincerity. You can literally feel it in everything they do. They are so genuine and humble. Also, regarding the lyrics, I really think you should check out proper translations to get the full meaning. Lyrics are another reason why we love BTS so much. Doolset Bangtan's web page probably has the most accurate translations and she often provides explanations and context for some of the lyrics and expressions.

I would recommend the song 2!3! In particular the live called purple ocean project. The song is also written for army during a time when both BTS and army were getting a lot of hate….and I believe the song was written to thank army for not giving up despite the hate. It’s really beautiful. This is also the live where V came up with “I purple you”, and is why purple is our color.

Doty's book "Into the Magic shop" where the author talked about different tips and tricks which helps people to open up their heart and mind and get to know their true self.... So this song written by BTS member Jungkook he said that in this song, magic shop is a place where ARMY when feeling hopeless and exhausted, can draw a door in their mind and go there and BTS would be there for them to comfort them......Not just magic shop but they have dedicated many more songs to ARMY and they also mention ARMY in every other song..... Never did I think that K-pop would be my go to music. Never did I think I’d fall so hard for seven young men from South Korea. Never did I think I would get so much pleasure watching complete strangers falling for BTS as I did. But what a magnificent, happy, positive, lovely, grace-filled existence to be living right now with BTS’s artistry all around us. As you said, I also can’t imagine life without BTS in it! There was something about their cover of Coldplay’s “Fix You” that shot right through my heart immediately. The love & loyalty between BTS and ARMYs is like nothing I've seen before. I know its part of the Korean Idol culture to truly love their fandoms but BTS and ARMY are linked like soulmates. I'm new to the ARMY, 8 months, but I am in awe of the online support I see ARMYs give to BTS, and to each other, its amazing. I ran an experiment on Weverse, I followed a couple of Korean Idols and western artists. The Korean idols sent/responded to message dozens of times, sometime daily, the western artist I have yet to hear a peep. Between Wevesre and Vlive Korean Idols keep fan engagement higher than anything I've ever seen in the west. I sort of like it, and it lets me see how hard these people work for their fans so I see that the loyalty has been earned and not taken for granted

Magic shop saved my life. I was suffering severely from postpartum depression and at the time I heard Magic Shop, I hadn’t yet been diagnosed. I was suicidal, completely manic, and I had absolutely no idea why. The day I heard this song was the same day I had decided I wanted to end it all. This song literally lifted me from the dark hole I had dug and brought me higher than I ever thought I would feel again. I’m not sure any other song has moved me as much as this one. My interpretation was that it’s advice to ARMY. When we’re so overwhelmed or confused or hate ourselves or our lives, go into the little place in the back of our minds. BTS waits there for us, in our safe haven, and helps us process/get out of those feelings of doubt and fear. I was a fan before hearing Magic Shop but that day, I became ARMY for life💜

4:55 they said this countless of times fr, but if I remember correctly that's not exactly what the song was about. This is a comfort song bts made for armys. "Magic shop" is the place in ur imagination for army and bts. In the song they basically say whenever u have a hard time, feel down or whatever you can always come to the magic shop and they will comfort you and just like how armys help bts, bts want to help army. (Like the lyrics "you gave me the best of me so you give you the best of you") Talking about the same part, (4:55) it's also a reason why I respect them so much. In concerts they give 200%, but when they get backstage they're nearly fainting and struggling to breath (who wouldn't after hardcore dancing, rapping and singing at the same time for like 3 hours straight) . It's really sad to see, but knowing they really care about the audience really makes the fanbase feel spechial. Also you're so right about shedding tears to this song hehe 🥲

I love Magic Shop because it dovetails so neatly with how I felt when I watched my first-ever mv of theirs, Dynamite, in late 2020. Stressed and frustrated and scared, and here were these seven boys pulling open a door for me and saying, "Hey, c'mon in. IT'S LOVE. That's it. You can feel their love and Army's for them and it's palpable. Nothing magical, just love.... they've stuck together from day 1. That includes all new fans too, so do include yourself in it, I'm a 53 yr old Army for a year now and I'm so grateful for Army that kept them going from the beginning, now it's my turn to keep the impetus going. Keep going, don't be afraid of it. BTS themselves are not afraid of crying in front of millions, they're just honest and upfront and genuine and that is what is lacking in the world. When we see it it makes us so emotional, and that is why they have the (increasing) fanbase they have. Firstly, because of WHO THEY ARE, followed by everything else. Love your reactions and how genuine you are. For me one video is never enough! You make me smile too so you're a genuine ARMY Sir! Keep your system going, make it organic for that is what BTS & Army did, so follow suit. There is a wonderful skit that goes with Magic Shop. It was performed at the 5th Muster. I have been unable to track it down on KZbin but it is now available for purchase online on the Weverse App. It's reasonably priced and you get the whole Muster. Magic Shop is such a special song for ARMYs. Have you watched Pied Piper Yet? That one roasts ARMYs for not studying but watching BTS instead. How many other groups write songs specifically for their fans? It's what makes them so special.

It always warms my heart when I see people react to live performances when you not only see BTS but ARMY as well. Concerts are such a unifying experience. if there’s one song i would want to hear again like it’s my first time hearing it, this is one of the song. i love this song through heaven!! the song has it’s magic where you feel mixed emotion-you feel so happy watching them, sad from the lyrics, grateful, touched, lonely, complete, satisfied. Some of the greatest fans, ARMY. My wife and daughters went to the concerts at SoFi Stadium. She said there were fans all over handing out homemade BTS crafts to all the fans. No fighting, just love.

There's a totally different feeling if you're listening to this song when you're genuinely sad or depressed, you can really hear their sincerity in every word and lyric, it touches you can comforts you, I can't even describe it. It makes me cry but smile. I'm soo glad I found these seven beautiful guys and this amazing fandom, it's the best thing in my life. I really recommend their song Spring Day, TOGETHER with the explanation video. It's an extremely deep song and definitely worth checking out

I saw this pop up on my recommended and was like "oH NOOOO 😭😭" because I already knew it'd be emotional for u AND me 😅 This song came to me when I was at the lowest point of my life, and tbh I think this song saved me in a way 🥲 it took me a long time to listen to this song without immediately sobbing LMAO and it's still hard.
