people dream of becoming opera singers but dont have the talent for it, they can practice but it will never be as good if it was a born talent. and he lives and breathe jazz als the way he dress and he chose to learn saxophone and trumpet. he knew he might not be able to sing jazz as a idol but look at him now. it´s so amazing to se him live out his dreams. he also loves to be part of BTS but jazz is where he belongs

Thank you for your enthusiastic & loving reaction. I am an 85 yr young American ARMY & have followed BTS since 2015. V’s beautiful voice with his incredible range pulled me in. His voice is silky smooth like velvet & honey & envelopes you in a warm hug. He definitely was in his element. We need more from V, the Jazz King. WE as the recipients of V’s beautiful gift for 2023 Festa needs to applaud his beloved Grandmother. She raised V till the age of 14 & was a great influence in introducing him to the old Classics, R&B, and JAZZ. I know she would be so proud of him in having his wish fulfilled.

We got a Christmas present on June. My 83 year old mom and me danced and sang to V´s amazing performance. I felt so happy for her. She told me oh this music was so beautiful, I miss it. She was a fortunate lady that traveled a lot in the days and was able to watch Sinatra, Tony Benett, Big bands.....

Norm busting tae!. Makes me think, is he changing kpop by doing jazz as an idol or is he no longer an idol, but a timeless artist. He has so much capability in vocal range and versatile vocal tones to do any genre and make them sound credible. Many technical singers can sing all genres but they sound the same in each genre like a more pop sound. I can see him doing music in his 40’s and 50’s as he has a timeless voice.

Tae's voice is magical!! It invokes a feeling of sitting in front of a warm fire surrounded by a thick handmade quilt, sipping hot cocoa and watching the snow falling outside your window - pure coziness! I'm not really into jazz, but I'd happily listen to Tae singing jazz for hours. Also, the girl's voice was so crisp and clean, they made a beautiful duet. Loved your reaction. I was so ecstatic when this came out. His voice suits this genre so well. I can’t wait for his album to come out. I watched his drive log a few months back and his taste of different music was evident. I added some of the songs from there onto my drive time playlist. Jazz is a very hard genre and no one can just sing it , however, KIM TAEHYUNG did it beautifully and effortlessly. His voice is so soothing, calm, sweet, rich, soulful and angelic. I don't mind listening Christmas song in June if the voice is from TAEHYUNG! His vibrato is gorgeous as well. Indeed, I feel heaven when he sings the 2nd song with Minna Seo, a good singer who is also into jazz! It's magical listening to TAEHYUNG and I imagine myself sitting in a pub and listening to him all night and day, over and over again! Thank you TAEHYUNG for this beautiful gift to us. I hope you will have more jazz and R&B songs in your solo album!

Minna Seo is the surprise guest Jazz singer. I had never heard of her before. But she is famous in Korea for her Jazz. Check her out on KZbin as a soloist. She is marvelous! And a perfect singing partner for V! Remember when V sang this song in his blue hoodie...well, she did the backups vocals and did the vocal arrangement! So they've been working together for awhile. I hope there is more to come!
