"23" certified Platinum in US, Triple Platinum in Canada. #10 on Country Radio. Has lots of music on streaming apps and debut album coming out in a few months. The song is autobiographical, and Chayce wrote it in under 30 minutes as his girlfriend was packing to leave. Final straw after a near fatal DUI

I drank like a fish for 8 years, then I turned 21 and it just wasn't as fun so I rarely (for me) drank afterwards.

Have to say it again. I am not a country fan. Buuuuuut. I actually like this one. Is no Chris LeDeoux. But i like this one. Kinda brings back memories of my drinking days. Did a lot of stupid things, keeping it clean. But not over a woman. Mine was over anger issues stemming from childhood experiences. I quit drinking 12 Dec 86, cause technically, i should have died. Didnt realize that till 15 Dec 86, when i was finally taken to Balboa Medical, Navy hospital. After 3 draws of blood, last one having to use a spinal tap needle to draw the blood. I was still a 1.75 BAC, back then, was considered 4 times legally dead. To this day, i can only look up, thank God, or Guardian Angle, that i am still here today. FYI, first time sharing this much detail on a fraction of my past.
