So beautiful. This is a great song to unwind after a rough day. Peaceful and relaxing. Christopher Cross is a great talent.

I remember when Christopher Cross's first album came out in 1979 & we all bought a copy. The whole album was good with one hit after another including "Sailing", "Ride Like The Wind", "Never Be The Same", "Say You'll Be Mine" etc. He won 4 Grammy Awards for it. He released a 2nd album in 1983 with a few hits on it. But sadly after that his fame declined. Success came quickly, all at once & then suddenly faded. Too bad as he was very talented.

I saw him in a recent interview. He's not a superstar anymore but he's still living the life, doing what he loves making music.

Dropping off another suggestion "Christopher Cross - Ride Like The Wind (Official Audio)" this is considered to be in the genre of "yacht rock" and soft rock. Fun reaction thanks ✌️

3:50 Christopher Cross was a victim of the 80's MTV video culture. He topped the charts in the late 70's, performed and wrote songs with all of his leading blue eyed soul peers like Kenny Loggins and Michael MacDonald. Shame the music industry was and is still so shallow and plastic.

The guitar is a Michael Stevens Double-Neck Strat. Only three were ever made.
