Technically he didn't disappear he just embraced his incredible songwriter status and ended up writing hit songs for Bobby Brown, Troop, Janet Jackson, and Barry White, among a few more. So he's been behind the scenes, but still making great music 😊

A very cookin' reaction 👩🏾‍🍳! Games was the lead single from Chuckii Booker's 1992 album: Niice 'n Wiild. It was written by Chuckii Booker, Gerald Levert and CJ Anthony. It was produced by Chuckii Booker. CJ Anthony and Chuckii Booker are providing the background vocals. The song reached #1 on the R&B chart and #68 on the Hot 100. No info on the music video is available. The female voice in the song saying “Chuckii! Chuckii!” is Janet Jackson. Them high notes 🎶 had you open like a book 📖!! In 1996, Mark Morrison sampled the song: "Games", for his 1996 hit song: "Return Of The Mack". Many other artists have sampled this song including: Luniz, The Notorious B.I.G., Sentury, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, AZ and Rappin' 4-Tay. The song was covered by Jeffery Smith in 2015. Chuckii Booker Info 📰: Eugene Allen Booker Jr aka Chuckii Booker was born on born December 19, 1962 in Los Angeles California. He is a singer, songwriter, producer, composer, multi-instrumentalist, music director and bandleader. He comes from a talented and vast musical background family which includes his uncle, a Jazz flautist, his grandmother, who is a Gospel pianist, as well as his mother who has played and recorded with some Gospel artists including: James Cleveland and Norman Hutchins. Chuckii Booker attended the Pasadena Art Center College of Design on a scholarship program specializing in Graphic Arts. He is also known to have one of the most extensive comic book collections ranging from popular Marvel and D.C. comics to obscure paperback novels. Chuckii Booker emerged in the late 1980s as a prominent urban contemporary R&B artist and producer. He began recording music after being signed to Barry White's production company in 1984. Later, he played keyboards and wrote songs with the short-lived Epic Records band: Tease, for three years. Chuckii Booker received his recording contract in an unlikely manner. He gave his demo tape to the manager of Gerald Albright to showcase his skills as a musician, but had forgotten about the songs on the other side of the tape that contained original songs with his vocals. As a result, he was offered a recording contract with Atlantic Records. Chuckii Booker signed a recording contract with Atlantic Records to release his debut album: Chuckii, in 1989 in which he played all the instruments and sang all vocals. The album fared well on the strength of hit singles: "(Don't U Know) I Love U", and the #1 R&B single: "Turned Away". Chuckii Booker's follow-up final album: Niice 'N Wiild, was released in 1992 and yielded another chart-topping R&B hit song: "Games". Chuckii Booker has appeared on some music based television shows performing his music including: Soul Train, the Arsenio Halll Show, It's Showtime At The Apollo and American Bandstand. Chuckii Booker has produced for several recording artists throughout the years including: Troop, which yielded two #1 singles ("All I Do Is Think Of You" & "Spread My Wings"), Barry White, Janet Jackson, Vanessa Williams, Kool & The Gang, Lalah Hathaway, En Vogue, Angela Winbush, Diana Ross, Anastacia, Commissioned, Rihanna, Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder, Bette Midler and many more. Chuckii Booker was the musical director, producer and keyboardist for Janet Jackson's "Rhythm Nation World Tour" as well as the opening act. Chuckii Booker got the gig after he was invited by Janet Jackson to the premiere of her long-form video: Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814. Although Chuckii Booker went to the premiere to mingle with celebrities, he was caught off guard when Janet Jackson asked him after the screening to be her musical director for her "Rhythm Nation World Tour" tour. Chuckii Booker was music director and keyboardist for TLC's 1994 "CrazySexyCool" tour as well as New Edition's 1996 "Home Again Tour". Chuckii Booker also served as musical director for other musical acts including: Tevin Campbell, Brownstone and Keyshia Cole. Chuckii Booker appeared in the 1994 film: House Party 3, as a member of the hotel band. In 1997, he was the pianist for Tina Turner during her "Wildest Dreams Tour", replacing Kenny Moore, who succumbed to a heart attack during the tour. In 1999, Chuckii Booker served as musical director and keyboardist for R&B platinum artist Faith Evans on her "Keep The Faith" tour. In 2008, Chuckii Booker was also involved with one of the biggest R&B tours as musical director with Mary J Blige on her "Heart Of The City" tour alongside Jay-Z as co-headliner. In 2012, Chuckii Booker was the musical director for the television special: Lionel Richie And Friends. In 2014, Chuckii Booker appeared in TV One's Unsung episode about the R&B group Troop. Chuckii Booker is also co-owner of Aire L.A. Studios in Glendale, California which is one of L.A.'s premiere private recording and mixing studios. To date, Chuckii Booker is one of the most sought after musical directors in the R&B and Pop music fields. Chuckii Booker still performs his music live on stage in 2023.
