I got in to Coke Studio about 10 years ago and its been a wonderful magical musical journey. Nothing in the UK even comes close. So many wonderful songs. The latest season just closed so maybe the most recent Coke Studio song which was Phir Milenge. Definately need the subtitles on which are a work of art in themselves

This time however they've also make unique sets and video concepts for each song, making each one an audiovisual treat. Coca Cola does indeed fund this and have been for the last 15 years. This is the original Coke Studio that started in Pakistan, there have been several other spin-offs as well in India, Philippines, Middle East, Bangladesh though they haven’t lasted as long. If you’re watching on KZbin you can turn on the captions to get subtitles as well. Coke Studio Pakistan produces some of the best music you’ll ever hear. I suggest “Tu Jhoom” next.

Coke Studio started in Pakistan has become a global thing now, this one is from orriginal Pakistani one whicch is in its 14th year and still running strong. I would recomend song Mehrum which feattures this years 2 Grammy nominated including for best new artist Arooj Aftab. Also all Coke Studio songs have english subtitles.

Since no one in the comments is properly explaining what’s going on here, I think I will take this opportunity to do just that. Over a decade ago, the company of Coca Cola sponsored a musical artist who is also a music producer to do this show which featured various well known artists and they sampled or remixed old songs with new sounds. Many times, classical singers collaborated with new upcoming artists and reimagined classic songs with new age sounds and styles of music. This concept became so incredibly popular that they made this into a whole seasons, with each season having anywhere from 8-10 songs each season. This show has featured some of the biggest musical artists in Pakistan, and has also introduced many new artists who have gained massive popularity from this platform. This song you heard is from Season 14 and has till date amassed 106 million views. You should absolutely check out more songs from season 14 since all the songs are fantastic. You can also turn in the subtitles because they are available in English so you can have some context. In the previous seasons, there was usually one set and it had a little variation for each of the songs. This season, the set for every song is different which is also very cool. Happy Listening!!!

Coca cola is the major sponsor of coke studio's production. They showcase music from well known, emerging, viral, raw and sometimes totally new talent. Their speciality is that everything recorded here is done live; one audio and video (ofcourse they decide on a final version after many takes). Each season has probably 10-13 songs. seasons 14 is more visual based (like a music video) while in previous season focus was more on instruments play and artists singing in mic at one spot This studio has produced so many artistic masterpieces over the years. Since season 14 is new I would really love and appreciate if you can react to some of its songs. From season 14, I would recommend Yeh Duniya Kana Yaari Go All the songs have english subtitles, though (in my opinion) some of the subtitles cant capture the beauty of all the lyrics but you can get the general idea.
