"Like Louie Armstrong I,ll play that trumpet, I'll hit that bong and break you of something" !!! This music don't turn me on but - like I,ve said a dozen times -. Louis Armstrong is the Bomb !!! Pops loved marijuana "or Gage as they so beautifully call it sometimes"! He wrote extensively about it an often rolled a joint for every musicians stand. What the hell this means I do not know but,. Louis Armstrong broke SO many barriers ... for blacks in america and for jazz music ... it can't be told here in less than a thousand words.... all I can say is - again - that you ain't heard nothing like Louis .... Just check this from Amsterdam in 1932, where 10,000 people met Louis' train and carried him thru the streets on a bed of roses .....kzbin.info/www/bejne/i4vZoqmEjq-geZY Or on his visit to Africa where 100,000 people met his airplane. Between 1932 and his death in 1970, Louis was america's most loved musician, actor (38 films;. 1st black to receive an acadamy award nomination), US sponsored Ambassador of Goodwill; the 1st to tour "behind the iron curtain"), self taught, author of three books, .....GUYS !!! GET HIP TO POPS.... You will never be the same...!! So, I am wondering which of the hundred or more songs Louis made famous would be best for you to hear first ...?!? As young black men, I imagine "(What Did I Do to Be So) Black & Blue",. one of armstrong's two famous "race" records, ... would be near the top of the list .... Bear in mind that Louis suffered & resisted Jim Crow laws in the south, and in 1957, being one of the most famous artists in america, he took the president to task for not sending federal troops to enforce school integration;. "they are ignorant of the Constitution". Of the race riots he said "they,d beat Jesus if he were black and marching". Check THIS out ....Black & Blue kzbin.info/www/bejne/pn21Z4VrerRkeZY OR, here he is in a ridiculous 'dream sequence' performing "Shine"... "just because my hair is curly, just because my teeth are pearly, ....just because my color's shadey, different maybe,. That's why they call me shine".kzbin.info/www/bejne/hojRZqCseZ6qq6c Guys, Louis is one of the most important figures in american musical history and one of the most globally loved humans ever to come from this country.

Guys, you have to listen to CLOSER, THE ONLY TIME, and HEAD LIKE A HOLE by NINE INCH NAILS! They are legendary with a very unique sound. They got inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020. You've never heard anything like this before. Bonus points if you hear the songs live at Woodstock 94. NIN IS AWESOME, YOU ARE AWESOME, EVERYTHING IS AWESOME.

Nice! I suggested this all-time classic in a KZbin comment once. Great beat.
