The thing is, Airi is like one of the biggest names in Japan as a singer. She started young as an idol and now she is one of the top performers in Japan. And she is absolutely happy to be the clear 2nd voice for that man. That's the level he is at. And Even though technically she is just the 2nd voice, the Dynamics she adds to the songs is so apparent in this first take. There is actually a version of her performing this song Solo in a live. In short, it's a top tier singer and a straight up legend having fun with this absolute vibe of a song. I bet they are enjoying this song as much as we do

This was my first and still my favorite First Take. Another one I appreciated recently-and I don’t expect to see you react to it-is Avril Lavigne’s “Complicated.” Which surprised me much as I suspect it’d surprise anyone else. There was another interesting one with Sesame Street puppets and an idol group performing “Sukiyaki.” I could swear I saw a bunch more like this but those are the ones that came to mind immediately.
