Ken Tamplin, one of the extra vocalists, is a vocal coach who's on KZbin. I had to verify that because I knew his name was really familiar and was just sure my memory was correct about him. I love this cover so much for so many reasons. Not sure if you caught that little growl at 2:05 when Dan says "within", but I replayed it a couple times to hear it when I watched the video the first time. It made me laugh, but was perfect for that part. Loved this whole song.

But How did Dan got Ken Tamplin from Ken Tamplin's Vocal Academy to join in? Either Ken a friend of Dan or is it actually his voice teacher?

I was wondering about that too! Guessing that Dan at some point in his life was a student of Ken Tamplin. About a month ago I started exploring the rabbit hole of Ken’s KZbin channel videos and some of what Dan has said is the same stuff Ken is saying in his videos. I’m wondering if Dan heard it from him first. It’s possible. Ken really knows his stuff & is a great vocal teacher/ coach. Nice guy too!
