Welcome to DANZIG! First 4 albums are classic. He also was the main man in the Misfits, legendary punk band, had a successful classical album, and wrote songs for Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison.

Oh, for sure! Danzig I-IV are incredible albums. Glenn's vocals alternate seamlessly between haunting and feral, and John Christ's crunchy sick guitars make this some of the sexiest music to ever come out of rock and roll, if you're into that sort of thing. I definitely am. The studio mix on later albums weren't as well balanced and I think he started taking himself too seriously (see: Northside Kings after show KO.) By all accounts he's happily domestic with his lady partner, who perhaps has removed the stick from his rectum. I loved the bits he did on Portlandia and ATHF, but I haven't heard any Danzig material newer to me than the 2000's. Sorry man, I just realized I'm rambling on because I'm excited to talk to someone else who's into Danzig. I clearly need to get out more! Lol

Odd, 78' Chevy Malibu, 2 door, cassette player & 8+ friends & enemies all stuffed in cruzing dirt roads, full moon, 20° degrees, no snow, everything dead grey alit by the moon seemed to me to be better then any 20k dollar vacation trip... by a long shot! This song was definitely part of the ingredients to those endless winter nights😊
