The issue with devil may cry 3 soundtrack is that listening it blindly without playing the game doesn't give the vibes it is going for. The song actually fits perfectly for the frantic gameplay action going on the screen.

yeah this song is basically showing the dichotomy of dante and virgil. with hard growling metal voice is virgil's tortured soul. and the etherial soft voice is the gentler and sad voice of dante's soul. knowing what he must do

When i was 15, i got into a car accident. Broken leg plus 2 ribs cracked. Got home after hospital, feeling really awful. Summer time in bed... Just great. But my dad decided to cheer me up, and got me GTA:san andreas, and DMC 3. And i can tell you, I regret nothing. Still remember how my chest hurt when i was laughing my ass off rewatching dmc cutscenes. What a great time that was. And the soundtrack. One banger after another. Thanks for the reaction Man.

DMC3 is the youngest version of Dante that we see (ignoring Ninja Theory's DmC reboot attempt), and after a pretty high climax in the game, Devils Never Cry plays in a cutscene that's extremely badass. Directly after Dante first unlocks his Devil Trigger, he jumps off the tower that 3 takes place in and slaughters a bunch of demons on the way down as the song plays. Then it plays again at the end credits scene of the game as YOU get to slaughter a bunch of demons. It's easily placed as Dante's theme song across the series.

I'll start by saying I don't consider myself a gamer but I do enjoy some games. I played DMC 3 when I was in my early 20s and had SERIOUS anger issues. It became my release and helped me through some really difficult times. It just holds a special place in my heart. I suck at most games but just the perfect storm came together when i played this and I ended up beating it on Dante Must Die mode.

You know what game soundtrack it'd be great to follow something like this up with? Kirby. Kirby has an AMAZING soundtrack. Personally, I recommend "Dirty and Beauty" (also know as "Sullied Grace") from Kirby Triple Deluxe as a starting point. Most people would recommend the song "Two Planets Approach the Roche Limit" from Kirby and the Forgotten Land...but contrary to popular opinion I just think that song on its own is just okay.

If you want to listen to more good insert songs from games, look into anything from Silent Hill. All entries from the series have brilliant songs. "You're Not Here" and "I Want Love" would be a great start. I'd also recommend a few songs used in the Fatal Frame series, "Chou" by Tsukiko Amano is absolutely beautiful. Bastion, Transistor and Hades also have beautiful songs by Darren Korb. As for more anime songs, listen to the OP from Rainbow, called "We're not alone" by coldrain, it's your type of music. I think you'd also like the OP and ED from Mnemosyne, both by GALNERYUS. Hajime no Ippo also have great songs for both OPs and EDs. Speaking of Hajime no Ippo, you absolutely have to listen to "Weight of my Pride" by Pay Money to My Pain, I highly recommend it.

6:48 It's probably because that was the era of a big leap in graphics. The ps3 had just come out and there was a lot of hype for the new visuals. DMC4 also had some really cool trailers.

For me personaly, the game wasn't that bad EXCEPT for it's name (and main characters names). The gameplay, the music were prety good slasher experience, BUT seeing those punks being refered as Dante and Vergil caused terrible emotional damage every time. True "Look how they massacred my boys" expirience.

Devil May Cry is such a beautiful and sexy series about two brothers who embrace different parts of their heritage: Vergil embraces his father's *demon* side while Dante embraces his mother's *human* side. This music is so necessary for this series, because it's all about style and the personalities of these characters. Not to mention it gets you pumped!

The only thing that I didn't like about DMC3 is that they messed with the difficulty setting for the American version. Easy was normal, normal was hard, and hard was extra hard. The special edition fixed it but I didn't go back to get it

Jet Set Radio Future I recommend either listening to *Concept of Love* or *Funky Dealer* . Both great Ace Attorney Any pursuit theme is good with *Cornered* probably being the most Iconic and *Overtaken* being a personal favorite. Also any Objection theme could work. DMC 3 is the best still imo but some of qol changes in 4 and 5 are wonderful. This was core song for me and my friend group in highschool. Interesting you played DMC. I started with the series with Devil May Cry 1 during my school time and it was such a cool game at the time, I loved the setting and atmosphere. I only played DMC 2 and 4 when they released after that, sadly I didn't really like where the series went after part 1. Though 4 was pretty fun, but it didn't leave the impression that 1 did. Fully skipped "dmc" cause that was waaaaaay too cheesy. I did get DMC 5 on release but somehow still only played maybe 5 hours of it .. hard to finish my gaming backlog and keep up with the great titles even over the years. I do want to finish 5, the gameplay seemed good at least. My one biggest gripe with the whole series though ... can someone please fix the jumping physics. They literally haven't changed since 2001 and feel so jank nowadays lol. But my backlog .. multitudes of Monster Hunter updates, most of Nier Replicant, all of Star Ocean 6, most of Elden Ring, currently the new Zelda TotK, plus I got the whole Kingdom Heart series quite a while ago during some sale. And then Final Fantasy XVI is out this month, and just announced VII remake part 2 early next year. .. at least I managed to finish GoW before Zelda released lol

Honestly as someone who's been playing DMC from the start and grew up with it, it physically hurt me to hear you say you started with 4 XD Bro you gotta play the others (not 2. We don't talk about DMC2/uh) In fact one of my favourite things about hearing Bury the Light, was hearing the tones of Devils Never Cry hidden in it. Why? DMC4 was great. You're clearly hanging onto the feelings you had with Nero. Everyone who hated Nero then, despite liking him in DMC5, insist that DMC4 was bad. It was great and you need to let go of that shit. DMC2 isn't good but it's a great time capsule of the early 2000s idea of what a badass is supposed to be.

Day 27 of recommending the Beyblade openings. There are the Japanese ones and the English ones. The English version has one opening for a generation, and that for the 1st and 2nd generation. The 3rd gen has one op for one season. But the Japanese version has multiple ops for a season in any gen. You should definitely check both versions out. It plays when Dante gets his first devil trigger and starts doing Dante stuff. It's also the end credits which you gotta fight through. Honestly though a lot of people hate DMC 2. It looks fine on the surface, but Dante is replaced by an edge lord cosplayer pretending to be Dante and a lot of the mechanics don't work with the game. Like the combo system is back and they gave Dante a wall run. Which is almost guaranteed to break your combo. The game was filled with stuff like that that kind of punished you for trying to be cool which is kind of the whole point of the first game.

This is the end credits theme and as the credits roll you try to destroy as many demons as you can before the credits end and this song playing makes it even more epic than it sounds. Also please don't remind us of DMC2, thats the worst game in the series, I stopped playing it when the HD Collection came out on PS3 and only beat DMC1 and DMC3.
