You are right: he is the next level, the ultimate performer, because his genius is far beyond his insane vocal range. There are amazing singers, wonderful artists, and there is Dimash... This is why we are so many ready to flight thousands kilometers to attend his next concert in Kazakhstan. By the way, you must now react to a Kazakh song 😉(he is so proud of his country): Samaltau, Omir Oter (the 2021 versions are insane), Qairan Elim (the music video is breathtaking), or Qaragym ai (the 2020 version in tribute to his teacher who passed away from covid, heartbreaking). I'm glad you saw this performance. The audiences of some of the later live performances, having seen this one would be anticipating the big ending, and Dimash would play on that anticipation. This was still when his English was a little rough. One excellent performance with improved English was when he was a guest the next year on Singer 2018, covering Lionel Richie's "Hello". He did some unexpected things with it. "A.B.Myself" was a week after his Episode # 8 performance of the Chinese song "Daybreak". See the video for "Daybreak" on Gloria Wu's channel,(G Wu), which besides giving Eng subs, provides an intro with the tragic back story to the song. There is also the extra drama of Dimash having lost his voice the day before having to sing, and her intro shows him going to the hospital to get injections to his throat. It was amazing he was able to sing at all, and some people have done a reaction of this song followed by the version of the song at Bastau, which is a better performance, but doesn't have the story of the song. Four of the other contestants they often show watching from backstage are in the rock group Lion, who came in 3rd place in the competition. The guy with the hair (Lee Q Wu) is one of the guitarists. For a good example of what they do (including some 2 handed tapping) see their performance of "(We Are) Lion" on Singer 2017 Episode #1. Back stage watching the "Hello" performance you will see the singer from Lion (Jam Hsiao), Tengri, and Hua Chenyu.

I absolutely love your Dimash reactions. Liked and subscribed! When scrolling through your Dimash playlist, I see at least 3 big songs missing. Ikanaide, Tokyo Jazz 2021, which is an absolute master class in singing. Samaltau, Tokyo Jazz 2021, an amazing traditional Kazakh song, hypnotising and mesmerising. And Qaragym Ai 2020 in Kazakh as well (2021 version is beautiful too, but I prefer 2020, as it is a tribute from Dimash and the pianist to their teacher and mentor who had just passed away from COVID, the raw emotion just hits me to the bone…).

You have so very many more awesome Dimash performances to discover yet. “Know” has a vocal version as well as a vocalise version (which he does differently every single time and are all special, too hard to pick a favorite so I have to listen to all of them) are definitely out of this world and you need to listen to them. “Love of Tired Swans” (I love the one from the Kremlin) but many like the MV I always prefer live but his movie clip is very unique.

This song which was actually written by Eric Carmen back in the 70s, Dimash has done many versions of, all of them great, some more entertaining than others and each one with vocal acrobatics at the end. I think the best version is from The Worlds Best, the show where Dimash would have won if he hadn't left the show, for cultural and completely understandable reasons. My favorite teenage song by Eric Carmen in 1975. Right when teen girl angst was at it's worst. When Mariah sang it, for me it was too over the top (wasn't ready). I can see by your face that you are flabbergasted! Have you heard If I Never Breathe Again, which he sings at all his concerts, it's a beautiful love song. Also from his time in China, Couldn't Leave, and The Meaning Of Eternity, the most gorgeous, pure voice I've ever heard. Some notes at the end just go right thru me. It's the last thing I want to hear when I pass from this earth it touched me so much. I hope you get to watch the Bastau concert. There is one section that starts with 100 Dombra players, and then Dimash plays, BUT you should hear him sing Daididau . It is just mesmerizing. This is a song that means a lot to him, as you will see from his performance. Cheers.

As someone has said below the guys you were asking about are from Lion Band who finished 3rd in Singer 2017, behind Dimash and the winner Sandy Lam. Lion Band first song was I am the Lion, and they do a great cover of It's My Life by Duran Duran. Well worth checking out. Sandy Lam and My Dearest is worth a check. In fact you can't go wrong with most of the contestants, Teresa Carpio is the older lady and does a magnificent cover of Vincent. Regards Peter.

The people you see in the ‘green room’ are fellow competitors. This is a music competition for professional Chinese musicians. Dimash was the youngest and (I think) only non-Chinese to be asked to compete.

I have been through your playlist for Dimash and note at a glance that there is no reaction to Ikanaide and also Vocalise, I haven’t checked patroon. Would love you to react to those. Another brilliant reaction to our Dimash. This is from the Singer competition in 2017 and the guy with the long hair and white shirt was in a band who were other contestants in the show. They were all professionals in their own right and very well respected. Dimash released a Mood Video called ZHALYN which was only released this month and his first pop song in Kazakh for five years. He has a concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan coming up on the 23rd of September called Stranger which everyone is desperately waiting for. We believe there will be more new songs being showcased at the concert. The concert has just about sold out if not already. People are travelling from across the globe and proves to be nothing short of spectacular. Thank you for supporting our Dimash ❤️💕🇦🇺

This is one song that he has continued to include in many concerts. He improves on it all the time. I watch many different versions all the time cause they are all a little bit different but all awesome. His version in his concert in New York is really fun.

The guys you were asking about are other competitors (If I get it right) they are Taiwanese, the one with the short hair is the Singer Jam Hsiao & the other is guitarist Lee Q Wu from the group "Lion"
