You pronounced CANTOR correctly. CAN-TOUR. You can never be ready for this. It’s very sad and beautiful. David had just taken his son to see COCO, so yes it is DAY OF THE DEAD or DIA DE MUERTOS. The official live video is even more of a tearjerker. I’m 62 and have said goodbye to a lot of people so I have a lot to remember. This song made me sob the first few times I watched it. I’ve NEVER liked metal, but I will listen to anything David sings. Yeah, I now listen to DISTURBED almost daily. I’m so sorry for your loss, it’s NEVER easy. No matter how they passed. Not that I presume to know what happened, but David and DISTURBED are huge advocates for addiction and depression. They have lost so many and do what they can. Thank you for a BEAUTIFUL and HEARTFELT reaction. Oh, one more thing, you have a wonderful voice. It’s very soothing. Since I can’t hug you through the internet, which I would definitely do if I could. I’m sending you a hug. 🤗

Soon, you too, will be a #DIsturbedOne! 🤘Next up should probably be "The Light" (Otherness and hope) "Darkness" (for his grandfather after he passed) or "A Reason to Fight" (addiction/suicide). This is a very emotional song....especially since two of my siblings lost children that were only 20 & 21 years old.

I'm a new sub and so far I've enjoyed most of your choices of songs to react to. Thanks for your honest reactions and keeping it real! If I may request another song by Disturbed, I'd like you react to "A Reason to Fight." I'm not a metal head (at 67), but I appreciate David's voice on the less metal songs. Their songs tend to have such deep meaning.

If you see the full video of Inside the Fire , well it's great music but the video is very graphic and can trigger some so he has a video warning about what the song is about. Extremely graphic but is quiet important to the story line , it's based on the him finding his girlfriend self deleting. There is an amended version to and leaves out the sad graphic parts. Just a warning if you do watch it. I've seen so many shocked , very tough men, and survivors and sufferers. Great response to this .
