This is how brain dead Eminem is. He says the shooter has no signs of mental illness then talks about the psychiatric meds the shooter was on. Then he says the shooter is psychotic. Then in the video and playback we hear about all these school shootings then he calls for stricter gun laws. Eminem is such a nitwit. School shooters aren’t old enough to buy guns.

👏This is Em's MASTERPIECE - not just with his lyrical wizardry & double/triple entendres, rhyming schemes, but also the Simon & Garfunkel sample of 'The Sound Of Silence' (Hello Darkness my old friend.....). Next level GENIUS!🐐Remember, Em lost his best friend Proof to gun violence💔 Eminem started the ball rolling by using his platform to raise awareness and encourage change for the better, a HUGE risk, even for someone of his stature - yet KZbin tried to bury it - WTF does that say about society today?? That's why the end of the video is important - asking people to register to VOTE and let your voice be heard! NOBODY needs an unlimited arsenal weapons, NOBODY! At least highlighting this issue is a starting point. 👏Thank you for your reaction - Happy New Year from Ireland 🍀

The whole song was a double entendre. It's an absolute genius as a lyrical piece. If you listen again, most people thought that Eminem was talking about his own life it was only at the reveal at the hotel window that it all fell into place. It was an absolute masterpiece.

This song blew my mind the 1st time I saw it. I was at a mall with a mass shooting; and to me the scariest part was hearing little kids giving their parents instructions on what to do. Broke my heart 💔so nothing but mad respect that Eminem would tackle this subject and take such a strong stance.

Totally agree, there is a lot of illegal gun violence that is never talked about, yet is happening non stop. The actual problem isn't with citizens that get guns legally and are responsible, its a mix of mental health, media coverage giving unstable people bad ideas and gang violence...

Here’s your double . You’re a simple minded folk. Eminem says there’s no signs of mental illness then he says the shooter is paranoid. Is that a double? He then talks about psych meds the guys on but there’s no signs of mental illness. Then at the end he loops a bunch of school shootings and calls for more gun laws. School shooters aren’t old enough to buy guns. How come you didn’t get those doubles? You don’t know what you’re talking about.

A lot of ppl get into a funky mindset with mental issues and turn to drugs and the drugs in turn sometimes put ppl in a state of psychosis and that's when they can't get a grip on whats real and what's not. They see and hear things that makes them react in such a way and when it's all said and done they don't even recall what happened and its to late. They need to check mental health b4 issue a gun to just anyone

First of all i don't get it how America still lets free gun ownership with only basic background checks. That being said, the message of the song being 'gun control' it does not mean take ALL the guns away. That's what triggers muricans from what i've seen. It only means proper extensive background checks, it means only distribution of self defense weapons NOT war weapons that could end civilians dozens at a time, means a lot of things. Besides that the song had other messages, here are some: - proper mental illness awareness, identification protocols and medical support - medical system focusing on issuing prescriptions (pills) to combat depression and generally 'treat' the symptoms of mental illness, instead of treating the root cause of the problem - media coverage of this type of events that only incentivize individuals to follow the example of others having a spotlight and national/world wide notoriety after doing such things - Hollywood violence 'normalizing' such thoughts especially when the individual has a noble reason (strapped like i'm a soldier / John Travolta - staying alive by inches) The movie "Joker" 2019 is basically addressing everything Em said on the record. In my point of view, the guns should ALL be taken away. "Ow, how am i suppose to protect myself" protect yourself against what? if there are no guns, the person attacking you would have no guns either. The element of 'surprise' would be non existent since you can't end dozens by surprise without a gun. From my point of view is the other way around: the risk of the other person having the bigger gun is much more likely. It will not happen ONLY because the manufacturers won't allow it, they are making tons of money selling death to american citizens and the government is protecting them. To give you a better understanding: US had just shy of 50.000 deaths caused by firearms in 2021 while EU has about 6000 (most of those being terrorist related, not domestic) while having 120 million more people than america.
@crafty10962 жыл бұрын
Eminem is advocating unstable people not owning guns. Eminem pistol whipped some dude in Warren, Michigan where he is from. Eminem can’t own a gun. You don’t know what you’re talking about. All at the end that he looped at the end were school shootings. Those people already can’t legally own goods. Your breakdown is clueless. In the video Eminem looks out the windows afraid to open the curtains all the way and speaks about Paranoia. Then says there’s no sign of Mental Illness. You are clueless
@oTurkish13x2 жыл бұрын
@@crafty1096 No sign of mental illness does not mean there was no mental issues involved, only that there were no signs of it, that's the whole point, deep rooted issues can lead to an explosive outburst, issues that are not properly identified and addressed due to the medical system preferring to make a buck out of prescribing medication instead of psychologically treating the issue. Eminem even believes in weapon carrying rights, he only preaches control: 'They took away my right to bear arms / What I'm 'posed to fight with? Bare palms?" I'd continue this war of wits about proper regulations for carrying guns but you are obviously unarmed. I'm not from US so i could not care less, it doesn't impact me, it only seems stupid to me to have laws allowing any basement dweller or keyboard warrior or 200 year old citizen with nothing to lose or 5 foot 70 pounds scrawny bullied 21 yo kid or any ill intended cutpurse or home invader or depressive sui cidal person at the end of his wits or what have you the means to end tens of citizens at will on any misplaced whim. Happy Holidays!

In USA the people can't understand this......I don't know why but they don't wanna change their laws in spite of children die for that reason.....for me is imposible to get.....but they are like that......I'm from Uruguay.....in my country nobody have a weapon because the government put so many restrictions to have one.....besides that culturally it is not well seen to have a weapon
@fyvefouroh2 жыл бұрын
@@globalizacionliquida Deal is, when the people don't have weapons to fight back, there is absolutely no fear and no stopping the government from turning into a dictatorship where all must comply or die, kinda like Germany with the whole Nazi thing... We are all Americans and we should all understand the importance of keeping guns in the hands of responsible and law abiding citizens. Just because we understand the importance of guns doesn't make us rednecks either... There will eventually be so much restriction on guns that no one will be capable of actually getting one that's "legal". Though, it won't be a problem for all the felons/criminals out on the street that have always had illegal firearms and take countless lives. The major problem is the illegal gun violence that is occurring but not shown since its mainly black on black. We the people should not be punished for the acts of criminal trash and there needs to be more done for mental health. I also believe that all the media attention on shootings, while informative, give people who are unstable very bad ideas. Here's a PDF I found after searching about gun control in Germany -> wyoleg.gov/InterimCommittee/2019/01-201910313-04Handout.pdf
