I would recommend more of Dre's work from 2001, songs like What's the Difference and the Watcher are particularly good, and definitely check out more Ice Cube as you've only heard It was a Good Day and Straight Outta Compton, Really Doe and Amerikkkas Most Wanted are some of my favourites, and Tha Dogg Pound are another great hip-hop group you might like, anything off their Dogg Food album is fire. Edit: Also the D.O.C is a sometimes overlooked legend, he was associated with N.W.A and is in the Nuthin But a G Thang video, his No One Can Do It Better album is great.

In the interview, along with many things, Dre talks about “Forgot About Dre”: That was Eminem's idea. He wrote the song for me and Snoop originally.
