EXO was formed on 2011 and debuted on 2012 with 12 members with 4 chinese members but 3 of them had to left because of mistreatment of SM Entertainment but Lay (a chinese member) he's still in exo but hasn't promoting with them since 2017 because of political issues between Korea and China but he's still a part of exo. EXO is 9 members as of today. Fun fact: One of EXO member (Chen) is now a daddy and has 1 kid and going 2 this year. ❤️

EXO has done many genres but their core is R&B. In their discography, they hv songs that are dark, bright, dance-pop, ballads, EDM, etc.. 6 out of the current 9 members have already had their solo debut. 2 even had held their own solo concerts. EXO are considered 'vocal kings' due to their great singing ability, their techniques, and that absolutely all of their members can sing. Yes, they sing amazing. EXO's name comes from EXO'PLANET, the planet where they come from (yes, they are aliens), all their MV's are connected with multiple theories, but the general one is that they fight against 'The Red Force' an unknown force that is shown in multiple ways throughout their video clips (you can tell when the red color predominates over the slightest object), this force is trying to destroy the tree of life on your planet, so they travel to earth to protect her with the help of their superpowers (yeah, it sounds funny, but this is all true, you can see some of their powers in MV's like KoKoBop, Power and MAMA) that were stolen from them once but they were able to recover and now they fight against their alter egos ( Obsession MV) Although regardless of their concept, they have an incredible discography, they handle genres like R&B, HipHop, Electronic, Ballads, Dance Pop, Electro-Reggae, etc, they are not afraid to try any genre. Their concerts and performances are incredible and unique, as all performances are completely different. They have two sub-units: - EXO-CBX. - EXO-SC. And with great debuts from its members as soloists: - SUHO. - KAI (who recently released his second mini album called 'Peaches') - BAEKHYUN. - CHEN. - D.O -LAY (who unfortunately for a few years has not been able to promote with the group due to political issues between China and South Korea, however, he exercises her solo career wonderfully, her songs are incredible) Currently the group is in hiatus due to the fact that most of its members are doing military service, however, the other members have solo projects. Been in kpop for years. Was a multifan but EXO vocals and all around talent (and offbeat personalities) took my total attention forever. The members are lovable, funny, and TALENTED... the talent is insane!! They love us and each other and it's beautiful. EXO were and still are KINGS! LEGENDS! Even was once in the Guinness Book of World Records once for winning so many awards. Among the guy groups Exo has definitely one of the top vocals. As per me their best song is Growl. I also recommend a guy group from Blackpink's label. They're called Winner & they have 2 singers & 2 rappers. They produce their own songs & are very unique in their sound, vocals, MVs everything. Most chill group. Their discography is small but it's bcuz they have only good songs, each one of them, even side tracks.
