Ghost Division is always their opener so they bring it full blast. Always. They also almost always end shows with the song, "To Hell and Back." That song is about the most highly decorated American soldier from WW2, Audie Murphy. He went on to be a movie star including in a movie about himself titled "To Hell and Back." The lyrics are also taken from Audie's own poetry about the battles and dealing with PTSD. They named the the tank that the drummer is perched on Audie, after him of course. They also received one of Audie's movie posters of his biopic from his son who was incredibly grateful for Sabaton doing well by his dad. There is an MV and also lives of them doing "To Hell and Back" so you can pick what you want. (In the MV, they did get permission to show footage of Audie in his movie so you get to see the man the song is for.) One of their first war focused songs is Primo Victoria. And they play it NEARLY EVERY SHOW as well. I suggest a live for it. My personal favorites from Sabaton are Night Witches, Attack of the Dead Men, Dreadnought, and Christmas Truce. I suggest those if you want more Sabaton. Christmas Truce is one I had been desperately waiting for them to do as its such a profound event, but they finally did it. It took them years to get right, but did they EVER NAIL IT. It's a juggernaut of a song that plays a fine line between finding joy in even darkest times while also being sorrowful over the pointlessness of war. Like "En Livstid i Krig" it punches into the guts of listeners.

Just took my son to see them in Vegas for his 13th birthday a couple of weeks ago. Epica opened for them. If you ever have a chance to see them… DO IT. It was such a great time!

Told you that Ghost Division would get you going!!🤣 Of course you can call yourself a Sabaton fan, you are very welcome into the army. Another video with energy like this is Screaming Eagles. The music video is superb as always with the actors dressed in historically correct uniforms, using the right gear. The song is about the 101st Airborne Division during the battle of Bastogne in December 44.

And it’s not really the best move to start an album that way, not from a German point of view, or a French point of view either. [Laughs] But musically, that song feels like fucking Blitzkrieg tanks running you over. That was the perfect subject to fit the song, and it was almost kind of a safe bet, because Rommel was never accused of any war crimes. He wasn’t part of the Final Solution or the Holocaust. He was a general doing his job, a very good soldier and commander. And when the Nazis forced him to commit suicide, even Winston Churchill said that the British had now lost their last gentlemanly opponent."[4] This is literally a song about a Nazi tank battalion invading France performed in Poland in front of around 550,000 people. Amazing.

Love this song. Their opener for almost all shows. They have a blast every time they're on stage, always gives 110%. Every time I've seen them I leave the venue with the biggest smile and totally exhausted.

Hi there cheers from Sweden ive been a Sabaton fan since probably almost 10 yeears or more back when mohawk was a style lol :). I gotta say i like your factual reactions. i love that you dont pause all the time but react in different ways. When you react to Night Witches and The Red Baron I encourage you to do the full YarnHub story versions. There's some historical context with animation before the song, but they aren't that much longer (not like the full Sabaton History channel videos). If/when you watch 82nd All The Way it can be fun to do a double header and watch Amaranthe's cover video of the song afterwards.

Found your channel few days ago and been absolutely enjoying these Sabaton and Nightwish reactions! I like your honesty and not "overreacting" while still being able to see if you really enjoy hearing the song :) From Sabaton I'd suggest "Night witches", "Into the fire" and "Soldier of 3 armies". I think Joakim likes to begin concerts with the words "Fast as the wind, the invasion has begun, shaking the ground with the force of thousand guns" and I dont blame him, It fits their theme. A perfect song to energise the audience with.
