You are 100% right that growing up in the 70s/80s was THE best time! (maybe be a teen/20s in the 60s w/The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix etc would be as good, too). I was born in the 60s, grew up on the 70s/80s. Listened to all the most amazing music on the radio then on MTV. I lived in L.A. during the late 80s which was ground zero for rock music. I used to see the members of Guns N Roses out at clubs, including Slash! Someone I knew was friends w/Slash (he's from L.A.) and I stood next to Slash while they talked. I acted all cool but was freaking out in my head 🤣. We saw all kinds of musicians just out at bars/clubs, like Steven Tyler from Aersosmith, David Lee Roth from Van Halen, Stewart Copeland from the Police...just so many. Those were the best days & now you know why us 'old' people say most music in the last 20 yrs is terrible 🤣

If you want to see them at their most decadent, right when their fame and money was finally rolling in… check out their official video for “It’s So Easy”. Just keep in mind they also have thoughtful and reflective songs (which are great) as well. Guns n Roses is top shelf.

This was a great era for music. Being a songwriter, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist musician, l grew up in the 70's and 80's and played in rock bands and had the good fortune of getting to meet a few members of some of these bands. I met members from Cinderella, Journey, Britny Fox and even Guns N Roses. Fun times. Cool reaction from both of you.

The 80s. It was a great decade that Rocked! And it not only Rocked, but we had Punk, Goth, Ska, New Wave, etc. It was an awesome time for stadium and arena concerts! A moment in time I will cherish forever! Rock On 🤘🤘

I was in high school in the 80s and Guns N' Roses, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, and a few others ruled music for a lot of us... We had no Internet or social media and I couldn't be happier about that.

First time seeing you both, you're great! I love what a rocker Abby is, reminds me of myself! I don't know how old she is (I'm older GenX, so 'old', lol) but she knows her music & has great taste. And yes, we all had crushes on Slash and/or Axl. I love that Abby wore the hat! Very cool to watch people unfamiliar with rock experience it for the first time. You have a great rock guide, Josh!
