I'm old enough to be Harry Styles mom, and originally heard of him because my daughter was a One Direction fan. Just before COVID I managed to get tickets to take her to one of his concerts and it was absolutely amazing. I've been going to concerts since the 80s and have seen dozens of shows - and he ranks up there as one of the best live performances I've ever seen.

I've been SO impressed with him as a solo artist. He's SO talented. I initially listened to him because of my daughter but found myself listening to him on my own. He has some great songs and is super versatile. The retro, fun vibe of both the song and video of Treat People with Kindness is awesome. I agree with the other recs of Sign of the TImes, Golden, Adore You (the official video has a bit of a beginning to it). Canyon Moon and Carolina are also great but not as well known as the other. Seriously love his timeless style! :)

He was a kid in 1D being told what to sing,wear sharing lines in the songs.that gave him the platform when they broke up to grow as a man and artist discover what his sound was and the image he wanted.i wasn't in to 1D too old for boy bands.but I like Harry's songs he's a nice guy.there are videos on KZbin that show him helping people to come out and he's done gender reveals at his concerts.he wears a mix of male/female clothes.

I loved One Direction ….. Harry has some good songs but I think a lot of them aren’t that good. Falling is probably one of my favorites of his. I’m not a fan of the dresses and the new Harry as much. I’m older too and I miss 1D ❤️

I would not fall into your idea of what a boyband fan would be, but then 1D turned into a pop/rock band and I was more than happy to take my teenage son to see them, in fact I would be the one shouting when tickets were going on sale. They weren't a stereotype boyband, they wore what they wanted on stage, refused to dance and insisted their song writers were fired after the 2nd album so could write for themselves. The Harry you see now is because of that, not despite it, they were totally hands on. He hasn't changed as much as some people think.

When the covid crisis first began my husband was heavily involved being a met police sergeant and spent a lot of time in hospitals. This song became an anthem for our emergency workers it was played a lot on radio at that time. I have a very special place for this song. I couldn’t see my husband for 12 weeks due to his contact with covid patients. He used to send me this song every weekend.

This is such a beautiful song and a beautiful video. Harry is one of my favorite singers and people. His compositions have a lot of heart, and he sings with that same heart. Please react to Sign of the Times when he did it live on the Graham Norton Show. It made him cry, and it just might make you cry too. He held nothing back. For another video if you want, try Lights Up. It's deep, it's a toe tapper, and it shows Harry in his natural element: people. Surrounded by people. Also, Harry likes to be naked.

A fellow commentator sent me to his page, I promised I would visit right then and then reply to her with my reaction. I went to his page, in a rather scathing mindset. The track I was sent there for was a cover of FMac's Landslide and man, was I 100% WRONG! He was great and hey this old hippie chick is hard to impress these days. JV you should definitely go a bit deeper. I thought his voice was gorgeous and I stayed there for more than one song. To us adults One Direction were not considered to be an "authentic" musical entity. Their songs were ok, what they did, they did well.. They were their for screaming girls. So you can imagine my jaw drop!! Quite a way when I heard him. Check out the sessions, for yourself, all free on YT. I am happy to apologise to Harry for my lack of belief in his talent, which he has by the shedload. Loved your reaction JV, Peace, love & music.

I am 66 years old and only listened to 1D after hearing Harry's Sign Of The Times, don't know if you listened to any 1D albums, but they are really good, especially the last two albums, Four and Made In The AM, their harmonies are amazing and you can certainly hear the beginnings of a solo Harry Styles, they all wrote on those albums, I highly recommend listening to "If I Could Fly" which Harry wrote

Hey Jay! Thank you for reacting to Harry. I fell in love with his music in a few short months and hes become one of my all time favourite artists with only 2 albums. So much so i have now bought tickets to go see him live in June! Absolutely cannot wait and I listen to his album almost daily while working. He has such charisma and talent I'm sure he will be making music the rest of his life and go down as one of the greats. I highly recommend golden, fine line and she off his second album. To be fair any song you pick will be amazing, they are all so different and every one is a banger! Please listen to more Harry!

Keep watching him, Jayvee! He's a fantastic singer and an impeccable writer - i recommend watching some of his live stuff (Sign of the Times on Graham Norton, Falling at the Brit Awards, Two Ghosts on the Late Late Show, etc), i assure you no autotune is required with this boi XD. Also he had a lot of training for his singing underwater prior to this music video. He was in Chris Nolan's film 'Dunkirk', and there were several moments mainly shot from under water, showing a ship being torpedoed. Harry played one of the soldiers nearly drowning and he had to open his mouth a lot for the scene so seeing him here in this mv a year later singing underwater is merely previously learnt skills from doing that movie

I'm personally not a Harry Styles fan, but I did really love this song. His delivery is so emotive, it makes the song really compelling. Another song that he did that I believe is very comparable is Sign of the Times. If you liked this one, you should react to it too!

I am 46 years old I discovered one direction through Harry (NKOTB was my group). But they sang more than just pop hits! They were discarded by “straight men” because the media only described them as a boy band! They were\are so much more that! Each member talented in their own right! Some songs from their early career may seem a bit cheesy! But they were young when they first started, not one even 20 years old, the two youngest only 16! They paid attention, watched, grew, and became some of the most well adjusted and kind Men! Saying that Harry is my ❤️!

You should watch him singing this song Falling at The Brits live in 2020. It’s on KZbin, Amazing vocals, an ex girlfriend of his Caroline Flack had taken her life a few days before, it was so raw and full of emotion. Especially when he sang, and I get the feeling that you’ll never need me again. Wow. He sang it beautifully.

Harry is always such a surprise to people)) His legacy is a bit deceiving which is always cool to watch in reactions :) He's a legend tho, not only he's a great singer, his songs are so heartwarming/heartbreaking, you can reflect to so many lyrics bits. He's a genuine artist, it's a rare thing nowadays. As to One Direction, I used to dismiss them for 10 years thinking they made silly teen-pop music I'm not interested in, turned out most of that music is so deep and written pretty well, because albums 3-5 were mostly written by the band themselves with a short team of collaborators that stuck with them for those 3 years. Now all 5 are making their own music, my faves are Harry, obviously, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. But they're all great, even if it's a radio ready mainstream music like Liam Payne's, it's still a quality stuff. You might have heard of Zayn, tho, because he left the band first and his few hits were just huge back in 2016-2017. I admit I didn’t want to listen to his music due to One Direction. I found his music on Spotify but I instantly recognized how great he was his overall skill.
