Tim wrote this song as a lark. He was working for someone out in California and was told to write country songs and he really didn't want to. So he went and wrote what he though was the most country song he could after consuming a bit to much liquor. And it ended up being one of Home Free's most popular videos.

That was such a fun video. This is an original song that Tim wrote. These guys know how to have fun without compromising their vocals. Rob is great with his whistling & love Adam's vocal percussion. Home Free are my favorite a cappella band out there. And Avi Kaplan did a cameo role in this one.

"Working for a living" is both funny, especially if you have seen Anchorman...and it will help you learn the names too. One of the amazing things about Home Free is their sense of humor. They dont take themselves too seriously. They do take their music seriously, and have such love and appreciation for each other. Their families, and their fans. Tim wrote a parody song called "Quarantine" which was a must see. Also, "Grandma hot run over by a reindeer", "cold hard cash" and the christmas sequel to Champagne taste, "Full of cheer." All of these also show the humorous side of our guys. Enjoy the ride. Theres not a bad song in the catalog!

When Tim was out in LA, his boss wanted him to write country songs. Tim didn’t want to write a country song but the boss insisted so Tim got drunk and wrote this one in a night. Pretty funny as it’s one of his most popular songs. That’s Avi in a cameo. They collaborated on Ring of Fire and he hung around for this one. Just a fun song with great lyrics. I think you are starting to see their humor show! Tim wrote this after getting incredibly drunk and writing the silliest country songs he could think of. LOL They can make you laugh or they can make you cry or just dance in your chair. You should do Hillbilly Bone for some great bass thumping and humor. "Honey I'm Good" is another great humorous one. They have done so many that have a silly funny side...it's hard to name them all. They always release one song before Valentine's Day that is full on cheesy so we have "I Swear" and "Make You Feel My Love". They are always up to something around April Fools Day - that's when we got such gems as "All About The Bass" "Butt's Medley (Remix) and "Never Gonna Give You Up". But then their serious side...can give you chills and make you cry - "One Man Band" "Brother's In Arms", "Go Rest High On That Mountain" etc. And to do some major chair dancing there is "Can't Stop the Feelin", "Elvira" with the Oak Ridge Boys, "9 to 5" (both live with beatbox breakdown and the official video). And if you want just funny stories to listen to, look up "Story Time with Tim" where Tim would tell a funny story to the audience during live shows of their lives on the road. There are dozens of them but one of the best is "Natemares". I love everything Home Free but for something Home Free adjacent, check out The Hound + The Fox, a husband and wife duo that have done videos work for Home Free as well as appearing in some of their videos. They have done several collaborations with the members of Home Free and their voices are so perfect. Not acapella more folk in sound but beautiful. Just to add something different into the mix.

Lol Tim's busted more than one speaker and at one concert, the old ceiling started crumbling with pieces/dust raining down!! 😉 If you have seen the movie "The Big Lebowski" you really ought to watch Home Free's "This is how we roll"!! Hilarious! Watch the outro, too. See if you can figure out why Adam's missing. Haha If you know what being Rick-rolled means and have seen Rick Astley's video for "Never Gonna Give You Up" go check out Home Free's version!! LOL They NAILED the '80s clothes, hair, and dance moves!! 😂 The song sounds great, too! They actually Rick-rolled us 3 times before releasing the official video! I love these guys!

Tim and Avi both live in Nashville. Pentatonix and Home Free know each other well. PTX won season 3 of the televised singing competition called the Sing Off and Home Free won season 4. Pentatonix returned season 4 and mentored Home Free and performed in the finale. Both bands are awesome.

That soul keep you for a little bit! LMAO! You should also check out their performances from the show The SingOff Season 4 with the intros and judges remarks that will show you what really catapulted them into their mass following and where we got out name of Home Fries. Have fun... it's always good to go to their page and start at the bottom and work your way up just to see how much they have grown. You will also notice that all songs before 2016 will have Chris Rupp as part of the group.. he and his brother Adam (beatboxer) started the group in 2000, he left in 2016 to go on his own and pursue projects he wanted to do. That's when Chance joined the group.

Another great reaction. Yall really need to do Ring Of Fire. I'm sure yall have already been told about Chris Rupp and Adam Rupp being brothers and starting the group. Chris left the group for other things and Adam Chance joined. They have only gotten better since. It seems like they get even better with every new song. Their Boys To Men cover of End Of The Road is phenomenal and for another original Timeless and also Land Of The Free. You should do some of their live stuff too. Your Man is a must do.

They have plenty of funny videos. Avi was in the background sitting on the bull in this video too at the end. Talking about busting speakers, I was not at the one that broke a speaker, but I was at a concert where Tim hit a low note in an old theatre in NC and the ceiling plaster started coming down in flakes and small chunks, hit the stage and front couple of rows, people were shaking it off their clothes and out of their hair and The guys on the stage were looking up like they were wondering if they needed to run off stage. The bass does rattle things like you can feel the floor vibrate and it goes through you. It's an awesome experience!

This is a great goofy song of Tim's as you have heard from others. Also...Land of The Free...written by Tim and friend Chris Chatham before Tim joined Home Free...it is sung with Home Free now...a great song. There is...Story Time with Tim...Natemare...and it is so much fun...there are a lot of them there and if you go and find...Whip/Nae Nae...just a warning there is a little girl that screams a lot...but it is one of the funniest Story Times...I think.
