I seen Darius Rucker in concert last month. He put on a great concert and did some of his songs when he was with Hootie & The Blowfish. If you get time you need to check out some of his country songs.

I love this song. It reminds me of my son’s dad. We met when I was 16. We spent 22 years together and so many times trying to support his sobriety and his relapses. His last relapse was his final we had broken up over our frustrations with his addiction. I never got to say goodbye. Our son is now 29. He never looked twice at drugs. We lost his dad and 2 uncles within 3 years of each other 💔🙏🏼

I have met Darius Rucker several times since I’m also from Charleston, SC and worked in radio. He’s incredibly funny and nice!! We also went to rival high schools. He was supposedly the most popular guy there.

An oldie but a goodie y'all! This one hits deep. A really good friend of ours died of an OD 2 yrs ago and they played this at her memorial. She struggled a lot with addiction and recently relapsed, but didn't tell anybody. Her 16 yr old son found her lifeless body in the living room one morning. Addiction is no joke (RIP Michele). That's what drives me to stay sober on a daily basis. She was a beautiful soul, so thank you for reacting to this emotional song. Appreciate y'all as always! Hope y'all have a great week!

15 years in the country genre with 10 #1 hits. Saw him live in Virginia Beach about 6 years ago and he has a fabulous country voice, mixed in with his Hootie and The Blowfish hits made for a memorable night........ very well received by the crowd. Must listens: Wagon Wheel, It Won't Be Like This For Long, This, Alright, and I Got Nothing. Thanks for reacting.

I live in the UK and throughout university oin the 90s, Hootie was one of my favourite bands. I never got to see them live but I have seen Darius Ricker in concert twice in the UK, since then, performing as a country singer. Coincidentally, I just found out yesterday that he is back in the UK, performing at the O2, early next year. So it looks like I'm gonna see him a third time!!!!! His voice is so silky smooth. Two other songs of Darius you should react to are (A) It won't be like that for long, and (B) History in the making.

Now you need to check out Darius Rucker, since he went solo & went country, He has a lot of great music & is one of the few black entertainers with so many hits on the country charts. A few songs to check out, like 'Wagon wheel', or 'Alright', 'For the first time' or 'Beers & sunshine' to name a few. Love this guys music.
