Great reaction. There are two more Incubus songs you may really enjoy. They are "Dig" and "Drive". Both are phenomenal songs. Big hits.

My friend’s son told me about this band rehearsing in a garage of a house in Calabasas. Little did I know they would become a famous band with a lot of songs played on the radio.

I love this song, especially meaningful to me now since my only son died, I dedicate this song to him and think of him every time I hear it. Love you Daniel, I miss you so much.

Sorry for your loss hope you find peace in your life I listened to this band when I was getting sober just something about them soothed my soul it just helped me along the way on my journey
@sharilynbratton6476 Жыл бұрын
@@RC-ul2oe That's so wonderful, music can bring such healing and insight along our path: sadly it was alcoholism that took my son, it ruined his heart and he died at 31. After he left us some of my extended family kept telling me to listen to various Christian and religious songs and ask God to take my pain but I have always followed my own preferences for what feels spiritual to me, and after I lost Daniel the band Tool suddenly came back on my radar after a long time of not listening to them anymore. Their songs hit me on such a deeper level this time and in some indescribable way set my spirit back on a path to gratitude and connecting in my heart to my son again. My son and I used to sit up half the night listening to music of all kinds and talking about so so many things, and it took awhile after his death before I could listen to some of his favorite bands and songs. But now, even though I still get a twinge in my chest over some of them, I can smile at all the good memories and enjoy each song.

The things he's talking about lyrically sound peaceful and tranquil, but I interpret it to really be about a sense of deep longing. He's experiencing the wonders of nature, but has nobody to share them with. He's perhaps thinking of a loved-one that passed away, or of a love that he lost. At least that's my interpretation of it

She’s about to release her first album at the end of this year! She’s almost 18! You guys ready to throw it back to an all time favorite artist??? Please consider doing a reaction to any of her live performances from July 2022. My absolute favorite is her cover of Labrinth’s MOUNT EVEREST. She also sang, love on the brain, killing me softly at this performance as well! She was 16 at the time. Come baaack to us! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The drums on here are fantastic. Jose does some really fun stuff with the toms, lots of fun. But it's the great sound they make with the guitars that gives this song the incredible feel it does. It feels so airy and spacious, like you're standing on a giant empty beach and those guitar sounds and turntable sounds are echoing for miles across the water. Great song from a great band.

I feel like getting lost happens when you stare into something that is vast and much larger than yourself. The ocean and staring into space at night have the same effect of humbling you and making you feel small and insignificant. There's an odd inner peace that happens in that moment.
