adolescense 03 beat is one of my alltime favorites. it samples japanese artist named yuji ohno. J.cole and many others have sampled him. Super jazzy indeed

Just Jamming I get it your taste for rap/hip-hop has changed. It still think you resonate more with 90's rap artist. Whether it be A Tribe Called Quest, OutKast, Mobb Deep, Tupac etc etc etc. Your enthusiasm seems better for that era. Honestly, I can't say I listened to every J Cole song or collaboration but from what I've heard musically J Cole gets a thumbs up 👍🏿 from me. I'll always love love my rap/hip-hop from era from late 70's, 80's and the 90's 😁. It'll just never get old to me

Great CD..checkout Friday Night Lights and Cole's World..I think you'd enjoy those two better,, feel better buddy..remember Cole came out when there was no one like him really and he felt very underground in the beginning.. He and Kanye kinda seem similar

I appreciate your honesty. I would say though there is actually a lot of good hip hop out there it's just the mainstream doesn't really represent it well but if you dig in the crates you'll definitely find a lot of modern newer hip hop artist that can provide what you're looking for.

A classic Hip Hop album. This album defined modern day Hip Hop and made J Cole highly revered to the masses of Global Pop Culture. J Cole, Drake and Kendrick Lamar are the elite stars of Hip Hop. Similar to how people put Beyonce, Rihanna and Nicki Minaj as the elite 3 of Modern Day Pop Music. Plus GOMD makes me want to get up in the early morning while the sun is rising and travel somewhere far. That song has a Mission Impossible vibe to it 😆😆
