That was 1995-96. He was fire 🔥 back in the day so we understand what u going through listening to some jamiroquai. So yeah it's not 70s it's 90s. He kinda revived this 70s funky vibe to the fore front when everybody else were going all modern.

I could tell you a story about jay Kay, but you wouldn't believe it.. It's about, breakdance and body Poppin circa 1986, in Stretford trades and labour club Manchester England... I was a breaker, but my best friend was a popper, and challenge a kid called jay bear to dance..and kinda gets blown away by said kid... That kid was jay Kay... He doesn't acknowledge his Manchester roots but we know.. Fair play, he hit the big time. But no need to deny your past homie...

We were all breakers . But jay bear, or jay Kay was pretty dam good . He kinda Denied his Manchester roots, but it's in wiki about his mum, and being a opera singer and that.. Even more to prove it.. Their very first video, too young to die..he is dressed like a Mancunian..semi flair cords,Adidas gazelle..job done.. Only us dressed like that back in the day..😂
