This is actually the song and performance that made me an ARMY. I was in a *really* dark place at the time and needed this message so much that it *litterally* saved my life. I bawled my eyes out the first time I heard it and it inspired me to make some difficult but much needed drastic changes to my life. Our sweet beautiful talented Jinnie. So clear that he was a film major, it comes through in his stage performances. He's so good at transitioning from head to chest voice, hard to believe that he had no vocal training before being signed to Big Hit. This performance gets me teary-eyed every time, such an important message on self love. Miss him a lot but am so proud of him he's doing fantastic in the military. 💜

It's incredible that Jin's vocal training was for acting (a career he was studying before BTS and graduated after In in an excellent university / they all studied in parallel to his singing career), I think he joined BTS at the age of 19 or 20 without training in singing or dancing, so he is the example of perseverance and hard work (well they all are) As you say, from being hired for his appearance, he went on to show how capable and intelligent he is. Auto tune isn’t meant to make you sing better it’s meant to add effects to a singers voice that can’t be done naturally. BTS very rarely use it to better their vocals and they always sing live.

They can all sing we've heard they sing live more than once, at concerts and via their individual and group via Vlive and Wearse where we get to talk with them live. Also every member can play at least one instrument. One Stage at concerts they often have their Live band with them.

During every one of their concerts, members took turns having a solo spot to sing their songs they wrote. May be 1 or 2 members each concert. When V did it one time, he sang 7 songs then still had to follow with group songs/dances.

If you didn't get a video with subtitles, you're watching the wrong video. this is probably an official HYBE labels corporation concert video. but when this one was recorded it wasn't HYBE corporation, yet. it was big hit entertainment who later reorganized into HYBE labels corporation. But for a lot of concerts performances BTS army fans do different versions of live performances with subtitles you just have to search for the video. I have seen videos of this performance by Jen with English subtitles! The other thing is there are probably about a half dozen different versions of this song performance from different concerts in different countries because I have seen different videos of this performance and he's worried different clothes and the stage is different.!

I would suggest reacting to the song directly after this one when the other three members of the vocal line joined German right after he sang this song, and they sing the truth untold! Which was inspired by a story about is facially deformed man who was from a line of royalty that lived in a broken down castle hiding himself from people and you need to read the story behind the song which is available because for their songs they have music videos live performances best practice videos for the live performances explanation videos of the meaning of the song add explanation videos for the meaning of the music video and shooting sketch videos that shows the filming of the music videos!

I'm not sure if the gentleman is an idiot or an ******* but BTS concert is 3 1/2 hours long it's not a mediocre concert from some western artist like Taylor Swift who charges 800 to $1000 a ticket for her hour and 40-minute concert! BTS concerts are 3 1/2 hours long every member does solo performances each concert has a theme for their themed albums what's 10 up to a certain point were in three album trilogies this is from the concert tour for their love yourself album trilogy! The albums love yourself her love yourself tear love yourself answer this was from the love yourself speak yourself concert tour. I don't know is the whole group performed an intense dance routine song before this, but I do know that right after this performance he ends it with the performance on top of the stairs there's a staircase behind there and the other three members of the vocal line came up behind him and then they did a vocal line performance of the truth untold!

I don't know why previously mentioned I had to give this video a dislike because of the perceived attitude of the gentleman! I believe William he made the statement about needing a big lighter he was being sarcastic I didn't like it. Besides if you don't smoke it's stupid to have a big lighter with you and nowadays you wouldn't be allowed to bring a big lighter into a concert venue and if you had one, you'd probably be kicked out. Most likely that's why K pop groups have light sticks for their fans. Even some western artists like Coldplay have wrist bands with lights in them for their concerts. Cape pop groups have different designs of light sticks BTS's light sticks or around with the thing on top of button that turns them on, so they resemble an old time bomb they are called army bombs for their fan base which is called army an acronym for adorable representative MC for youth! You do have to buy the army bombs which maybe cost $100 or even $200.00 but they have a computer chip in them, and you link them to your cell phone which links the army bomb to the cell phones GPS! There's a computer system at all BTS concerts the locate every single army bomb in the concert venue linking them to the computer system N the army bombs put on light shows during the concert they even spell out things like BTS loves army they make designs heart shapes.!

@heyRobWest I can explain the “big lighter “. As a #dopeoldpeople, when we were at concerts in the olden days light sticks and such weren’t available. We used “Bic” (brand name) lighters to participate in concerts. And no, you didn’t need to smoke to have one. Nothing was prettier than a full arena lit up by lighters. They were beautiful moments. 😊 💜
