As you probably know, they are Ukrainian. I'd suggest the official video for their anti-war song Home Back, about their hometown getting caught in the 2014 war. It also speaks powerfully for the millions of ordinary people stuck in the middle of every war around the world. Two more great official videos are I Speak Astronomy which is a love song full of nerdy astronomical double meanings, and Teacher Teacher with some rap influences. On The Top live in Kiev is another great concert video. Cheers!

So many reaction videos! So few Jinjer! I watch a lot of Jinjer reactions, but the algorithm just brought yours to me for the first time. Excellent reaction! You're clearly digging the Jinjer. But you stopped at only 3 reactions! Why Demi, why! I had to scroll through a whole year--LOTS of videos bro!--to find the Jinjer. Jinjer is one of the deepest rabbit holes. So much variety! So many different genres blended. A surprise in every song. Just when you think you're ready, they can't surprise you anymore, they catch you off guard yet again. Jinjer is awesome.... Seen them live twice in 2019..... Not to take away from Jinjer, but another group you should check out is INFECTED RAIN.... Start with Orphan Soul / Enslaved by a Dream / Passerby / or Sweet Sweet Lies..... Videos are kinda out there.... But awesome female fronted band.

Tati looks different in every gig & video, honestly. But she can kinda pull off every style too. Their more complex songs actually taught me what people meant when they say metal is just noise to them. It's when your brain can't follow along anymore, so everything starts to just mush together and become this white noise. Some songs took me several listens to properly learn what the hell was going on (especially when I was tired, which I am most of the time) and a couple turned from "I don't like it" to some of my favorite songs of them. Makes me always impressed when I see musicians react to Jinjer, immediately able to dissect those crazy time signatures and little details. Now imagine people who just listen to very easy to digest music instead. Anything a little more complex will sound exactly like that to them, because they're simply not really trained to dissect each individual part of the song in real time. Don't you mean Tightrope? No dissing Papa Roach though! It's more hard rock & nu metal but their songs on the first tony hawks pro skater games were one of the reason I got into the metal genre. :) And honestly, lots of those ~2000 era rock & metal songs aged really well, was a really good time for the genres back then and I kinda lost touch with it over the following decade, which really did not pull me in. Fast forward comes Jinjer out of the shadows and I'm all into the genre again. Mixing genres like this, and vocal styles, is one of the major things that make them so good and interesting. And yes, Tatiana's stage presence is awesome. It's just fun to watch her having fun up there, even though it's the polar opposite to her otherwise introvert and shy persona. For music videos I'd recommend Vortex, Wallflower (if your wife isn't so much into metal this might be a good one for her), or Home Back (remember that Jinjer is from the occupied regions in eastern Ukraine) next.

No, they've never played at Bloodstock (yet), so you haven't missed them. They were on the bill for 2021 but couldn't travel to the UK due to COVID-19 restrictions and had to cancel their presence, just like a few other bands. They're schedule to play there this year, though. Their only big UK festival presence was at Download 2019.🙂

I usually work Download and we are paired up, if there is a 1 band you want to see you have your break then , the girl I was working for wanted to see jinjer and I said I never heard of them , so off she went to the tent while I stood watching E.O.D.M on 2nd stage she was disappointed as she could only see half the stage due to tent being packed. Saw Tatiana later being served at bar in vip area just nod and a smile she is stunning close up.

Jinjer has never played Bloodstock. They were scheduled to make their first appearance in 2020 but that got cancelled due to the coronavirus and they are scheduled to play Bloodstock 2022 in August but it's unlikely they are going to be able to given the situation in Ukraine right now (all but Tatiana are stuck in Ukraine right now and even if things come out for the best it's unlikely they'll be ready to play).

By the way, I recommend you some older Jinjer before you go to the newest: Outlander, Scissors, Sit Stay and Roll Over, Cloud Factory. Some 10 years ago they were a five piece band. I like it a bit more than the their latest tracks. Have fun. Best single music video: I guess Teacher Teacher.

I didn't like Nickelback, but I'm also not really into Five Finger Death Punch, which I'd say is pretty similar to Nickelback. Guess I just don't like those stereotypical dad metal stuff (am not shaming if you are though). Definitely was into Papa Roach as a kid though, and their tony hawks pro skater soundtrack songs are a major reason I got into those genres in the first place. But honestly, pull up the Infest album on YT again and you see that most songs aged really fucking well, as they had some really great hooks and rhythms.
