The "live" in live session always confuses people. A live session is when all the musicians play at the same time in the same studio room and are recorded simultaneously, as opposed to each one doing their parts individually, and it doesn't necessarily mean that what you're hearing is exactly what you're seeing. In this case, there are a few things that match, like the drums and the guitar parts that Roman is playing (and probably the bass too but I can't be sure) but there's obviously more guitar tracks added to the mix (all from the song's studio recording) and although you see Tatiana singing in the video (she obviously sang in the live session), the vocal part you heard was actually also taken from the studio recording, with some small changes here and there. They weren't trying to fool anyone (they even explained it in the video description), the reason why they did it this way is simple: this song was originally recorded for the album King of Everything by their previous drummer and was the band's least favourite song of said album but when Vlad joined the band and they started rehearsing the songs for the concerts, they noticed that he put such a different spin on this one that it sounded much better than the original and so they decided to "introduce" Vlad to the fans by re-recording the song. As other people said in the comments, the objective was only to replace the original drum work by his, maintaining the rest untouched as much as possible, and that's why they didn't care much if the rest was taken from the album recordings instead of from this live session. The main clean guitar part, however, is slightly different from the one in the album, that's why I believe that what you saw Roman playing is exactly what you heard in the video. Their intention was never to showcase Tatiana's vocal performance but then the internet and the reaction channels discovered this video and the rest, as they say, is history. 🙂

Who could ever say no to this girl singing like she is and to all this setup? Jinjer's drawn in a lot of people that never appreciated metal, let alone hard metal fans. They've been around for sometime now, but this one skyrocketed them to fame. And they deserve it. Next to check: Perennial LIVE at Wacken, or, since you're metal skin is already thick, "Pit of consciousness LIVE in Kiev", "Who is gonna be the one LIVE", "Sit, stay rollover", "Cloud factory LIVE", and..... this would be a long, long list of goodies. Pick one and enjoy, they've gone even more prog this last album, "Vortex" or "Mediator" for a rough outline of their present musical bearing.

Otep Shamaya was Tatiana's inspiration to learn to metal scream. You definitely want to go there.

If you wanna see annother fantastic female singer who can do both beautiful cleans and some pretty serious growls, check out Arch Enemys latest single Handshake with Hell, Alissa White-Gluz, their current singer is amazing and they finally started using her abilitiy to do cleans, not a day to soon! Also, I've been a metalhead my entire 32-years of life, and that song is probably in my top 10 all time favourite songs, it is a real banger, Melodic death metal with some awesome old-school thrash/glam-metal flavours thrown in

You need to react to Close Your Eyes- Bitter Path! That vocalist has some of the best screams in all of metal. Right up there with Chester Bennington.
