The saddest part of John Lennon’s life was that all he wanted was a world that could have lived in peace, yet he died such a violent death! I remember that day, it was one of the saddest days ever! My family is from Liverpool, and we had a lot of connections to the Beatles. John’s death truly was a profound family loss!

When you boil it down, almost all the world's religions have very similar messages - that we treat each other with respect and love because we are all God's creations. Sadly, most religious people either forget or ignore that, because the details of the message get in the way. John's basically saying keep that core message but forget all the rubbish that goes with it - it's the only way there will truly be peace.

This song is an absolute masterpiece in every way. The writing, the melody, the tempo, the message, the equality. It's amazing that something so beautiful could come from such a troubled soul as John Lennon. His childhood was painful and it gave him demons that haunted him for most of his life. When Yoko stepped into his life, she was exactly the person he needed. She is an artist who specialised in complete freedom of expression. Some of her work, and theirs together, could seem really weird and unhinged sometimes, but it was that freedom that John needed to deal with his demons. It took a long time but he made it and became a much more rounded and calmer soul inside. He had just released his first new music in five years when a crackpot decided to do the unthinkable. The world cried.

Just imagine! And act like it could be reakity!

The downvotes for this song are beyond belief to me, for the video, for people reacting to this video, just cuckoo. And that's the problem, not only can they not imagine a world without religion, they don't want anyone else trying to imagine a world without religion either. But some Christians sure can imagine a world without Islam, and some Muslims sure can imagine a world without Jews. If your religion is more about exclusion than inclusion, then your religion isn't really worth much, is it?
I like your responses to songs, but when you keep stopping them for 1or 2 second bursts, it's quite irritating.
@THEJAYYSHOW3 жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear that but I learned in reactions that regardless of how I do it people will like and dislike things when I stop and talk longer people will say you talk to long , when I stop and have. Short response it’s either annoying or they want me to wait til the end of the song, and when I talk over the song without stopping or don’t stop at all people get pissed. I learned to just react how it makes me happy. I appreciate you liking my responses though but unfortunately stopping and saying what’s on my brain makes me happy so I can’t change that
