Fun Fact - The record studio had contacted Journey telling them that Neal's guitar solo was 'too long!'. And that they needed to shorten the solo. Steve Perry wasn't having any of it!! And got into a heated argument with the studio. They told the band that they needed to shorten the ending for radio play purposes! Steve told them, 'if that's the case, then he didn't have a problem with the radio stations cutting into the solo, to bring in the next song!! But they ARE NOT SHORTENING THE SOLO!!' After going at it for several hours or so. The record studio agreed to leave the solo alone! Thus you have this amazing ending guitar solo!!!

Steve Smith the drummer is great and came from jazz fusion. Neal Schon and bassist Ross Valory came from R/B and Santana and Steve Perry singer very R/B. Randy Jackson plays bass on Raised on Radio tour and video concerts. Randy is an awesome bass player and the 80’s style of cloths, something to see for sure. Great great music 🎶

Great reaction. This concert recording is epic! I saw it as a teen just after MTV recorded it live. Had it on old-school VHS tape. Watched over & over with my friends. So cool that I can watch anytime on KZbin! Check out more of the show!!
